This morning I took Craig to work because Big Blue should be ready at our mechanic today. After work I will take Craig to pick up Big Blue.
Today I plan to take some donations to one of the community help centers. I also need to do some grocery shopping and laundry.

I feel the same, I especially miss my mom so much at this time of year.
My dad too, he passed away on Dec. 13th, so close to Christmas and the sadness that year was very hard. Amber was 10 and Gabe was 8 years and I had to do all the things to make Christmas special for them without sinking into deep sadness. 😥
I hope all goes well with Craig’s vehicle and it will be ready for pick up today.💜
My dad was killed on Dec 13,,,yes so close to Christmas. We had even bought his Christmas gifts that year.

I appreciate that, Ice. We already know about some other things discovered during the PPI that need attention but thankfully they don’t all need to be addressed now and Craig’s vehicle can be safely driven in the meantime. Our mechanic is spacing out the timing for the additional service items. All of these are just normal wear and tear for a 2016 vehicle with around 116,000 miles on it.
we lost my dad December first, 10 years ago now..yes it’s so hard when it’s around Christmastime.

I decided I am not going to wear the BIG COMFY this winter. It is so heavy and SO big…..it’s ok if you are just going to sit and not do anything so I ordered one from the animal rescue site with a zipper. I am sure i will like it better.
The big one was too hard on our washing machine too.

It would make a warm quilt, fleece lined. I swear it alone weighs 20 lbs😂 It is very heavy

Good morning, 32 degrees out with frosty grass and Danny has to rub his face and roll on the ground every few steps. Took 20 mins. to get him back inside. 🥶 The temperatures sure have dropped. Yesterday I drove the van for the 1st time and I drove on the crazy busy Hwy 501, all the way to Myrtle Beach! I have not driven on the Hwy since moving here. These are the jeans I bought, mine are a burnt orange like color. Mine are in the laundry basket, I wash everything before wearing and I wash all material I buy before sewing with it. I really love how comfy the wide legs are, a good fit in the waist area and softness flowing on the leg. Kind of like a pretty skirt. Oh, I did get a skirt on clearance, a light summer long skirt.

Good morning! It is only 40° this morning. Out of the blue yesterday the sun disappeared and clouds came out and it turned colder and we got some rain.
We might get some showers this morning. I hope not because at 10:00 I am going to a memorial for a dear church friend that passed away.
I finished cleaning the bedrooms yesterday.

She was so sweet, probably my age but developed heart problem and had to have this machine on her at all times and they said it would give her 5 years and that is what it was. She never came back to church after covid and i sure understand why.
It will be chilly in the memorial garden….that is where we have our Niches.
Very pretty lady, so sad she suffered with the heart problem for years.

Woke to 36 degrees & snow! 🌨 It’s still falling straight down, no wind; very pretty; got colder as the day went on. Brr.
Got my hair refreshed, it was so faded, my head looked to be disappearing 🤔 Vacuumed down the hall & in the room where the new modem will be located tomo. Communications company just called to make sure tomo is still good 🤸♀️🤸♀️ I told her it’s good for me, as long as they can do the work outside.
