Yesterday I was pleased with the progress I made purging some old paperwork that’s no longer needed. I hope to make more progress today.

Good morning, Raining out and will be raining most of today. Just a light rain right now, saying thunder/lightning within the next hour.🤔 Yesterday I went to the grocery store called Kroger. I usually go to Publix which is close to Kroger because I just like it better. I went to the Dollar Store which is in the same mall area as Kroger so it was convenient. I did get 3 books at Dollar Tree, cannot beat $1.25 for a book and many I have bought there have been really good. It is hit or miss if
they have books other than coloring books.

Rick shops at Fry’s which is owned by Kroger and loves it and it is less than a mile from us.
They have a Starbucks too as does Target. I ask for gift cards and then i can splurge at Starbucks…I like frozen cappuccinos and the cold Thai tea lattes.

Oh I remember you saying Rick shops at Fry’s, so Kroger is the same as Fry’s it sounds like.
I found Starbucks coffee too strong for me, I just always hit Dunkin’s. It is or was more popular in Maine and Mass. than Starbucks. There also were much fewer Starbucks than Dunkin’s where we lived. Hey, it’s all good I love coffee.😍
I never order just coffee from them, just fancy drinks. I do buy SB’s peppermint coffee this time of the year

Good morning
Not much news….I did get my haircut yesterday. I did have to do some cutting when i got home which is pretty normal.
We met Jacqueline and Stephen at 3:00 for a late lunch. We treated them, we all had a cheese crisp and them our meals
and it was great. Today is cleaning part of the house and will finish tomorrow.
Oh I decorated the house for Christmas as much as I am going to do. We will put the tree up, Rick did get it out of the shed yesterday.

Yes that is the cheese crisp with mild green chiles.
Isn’t it crazy you can’t get an even haircut. Do you understand it? I guess the cutting techniques were different ( and better ) back in the day.
Well, she cuts fast like they want….in and out in 15 minutes……
Hairdressers used to take their time. I did too but Supercuts was always on me to cut faster…..all 32 years of working for them.

A cold night just avoiding a frost and a very sunny start to the day.
Might be a shower or two this afternoon temp high of just 49F today.
Local river in flood after the heavy rain we have had fields under water again.
But these fields by the river grow heavy crops of corn as fodder for the cows so it does some good to the soil.
No 2 mouthful of cheese on day 2 of the Advent Calendar.
Time for coffee now se you all in a while.😀😘

The CH boiler has been on most of the morning so the house is just right.
The morsel of cheese today even a mouse would have turned up it’s nose at that one.lol.
It had a very queer taste.

It always produces some big crops in those fields so it is probably just the right amount of flooding.
Clouding in now but nice while it lated.
Did not read the label this morning and I found it had a queer taste not one that I would have bought.

Good evening…today my sister and I went to the book store and farm store…I bought some more tea at the book store with my gift cad. We also had lunch at a little restaurant, gourmet grilled cheese and tomato florentine soup. We went back to my house for tea, and then she left to decorate for Christmas at our mom’s..by then the weather was getting yukky, snow and sleet.
Sounds like a fun day with your sister. 🤗
