It is very windy out, even blew the kitchen door open.
I didnt do much yesterday…washed some clothes, gave myself a manicure.
It was just a regular day.
I did buy some frozen cookie dough so i made cookies, so easy and so good too….lol

The deadbolt wasnt locked but, still the wind opened it. I was sleeping on the couch while watching my soap opera.
I just bought the Walmart pre cut brand. I think they are delicious. I only made half of them

All you do is break them off and bake…so easy and good.
Good morning, Sunny and warm, today is going up to 76. It won’t be this warm again I don’t think until next year! We worked at the camp until late afternoon yesterday. I packed up some more stuff to bring here and washed the refrigerator inside and out thoroughly. I wiped down all the cupboards ( which were really pretty clean ) and helped Denny draining the water from the pipes. Is your camp well filling up yet?.
We peered into the well and there was some water at the bottom so we think it filled up a bit after it went dry. There was very little though and Denny said the pipe that he pulled up for the winter does not extend to the very bottom, which is how it is supposed to be I guess. It will take the Fall and Winter for it to fill up again but we had a great summer with plenty of water so very thankful.
You certainly have had a great time at camp😀

Wow!! I didn’t realize y’all put antifreeze in the pipes of your camp for the winter.
You have to do that to keep the ‘traps’ in the pipes from collecting any residual water and bursting. Then in Spring we just run the faucets until the pink disappears. It is the standard way to keep safe in winters. If you have ever had pipes burst it is pretty bad. I have a few family members who have had lots of damage and expense of water pipes bursting.

A brilliant red and orange sky this morning, but no rain attached to this sky i’m afraid.
55F at 7-30 will get to 68F later with a very light southerly wind so quite a pleasant day to come.
The Green had a trim yesterday but it is looking very tired, need a big dose of rain now.
Already sweeping some Wisteria leaves up, one of my favourite tasks.😏.
Still a ton of leaves left to fall yet.
Time for a coffee fix now with some bread sticks.

Just looking at the Wisteria now and there is still an awful lot of leaves still to fall.
It has been months and months now without seeing some real heavy rainfall.
We have had some showers on and off and they have just filled the water butts up,
I used to post last year quite often about the local river in flood but now there is barely a trickle and getting overgrown with weeds,🙄😘.
I remember you writing about the floods from so much rain. Feast or famine as the saying goes.
Go easy with the raking, a little at a time is best, right?
So right Jenn I am soon out of puff these days.😀

Happy October 🎃 It’s still raining, 36 hours; thankfully, it’s the soft stuff; if it was pouring, we’d all be building arks!🚢 It should start drying up … sometime. 😄 Busy month, lots of fun little ‘holidays/celebrations’.
