Good Morning! Sunny and 53 going to 74.
Yesterday mid-afternoon my brother Jim had his left hip replacement surgery. He was back home by 8:15 PM. Jim communicated that the surgery went well and that he would need to keep his left knee immobilized for 24 hours. I will be preparing the meal for Jim and Gigi this afternoon. I’ll deliver it to them at a time of their choosing.
I need to leave soon for my dental cleaning. I won’t be surprised if at least one of my teeth needs some attention.

A foggy morning 56F getting to 68F later,
It is that day once again,,,Pretzel day has arrived already.lol.
My! the time just flies these days got a job to keep up with them.
This week will finally bring the temps back to their Autumnal normality back in to the low 50F range 40F range at night.
We can finally say goodbye to the unusual warm weather we have been having, heatwaves but a memory now.
Will see you all when I get back with my Pretzel hopefully.😀😘

Good morning It is still pretty windy outside. They once said it would die down on Monday but I didnt hear the weather over the weekend. These strong winds started early Friday morning, like 1:00 am. I went to church and the the WM neighborhood market which is a big grocery store to look for my Great value cinnamon/vanilla coffee. I have not heard of Modlily before but sorry the sizes were not the right fit after the first one in that size was. I like to buy clothing at the stores for that reason, I can just take them back locally. I hope you have success in returning them.
I dont normally mail order clothes unless its from Macys or JCP where I know their sizes and can run over to the mall to return them.
JoAnn had such cute tops from Modlily which i had never heard from but they are not customer friendly for refunds.
I might have to end up exchanging them….Grrrrr
At least if you can exchange them you will have something you can wear.

Very pretty on her. I like the length too. The style seems to be short crop tops just to top of waist. I like them longer.

A little rain this morning and sun in the afternoon, 54 going up to 65.
I did 2 more big loads of laundry yesterday and made applesauce. The bag of local apples I bought were already softening, a yellow apple. I peeled and cooked them into applesauce which was pretty good.😘
It was a quiet day, we took a long walk after supper.

I havent had applesauce in years. I always liked it.
I do like applesauce and with homemade I can regulate the sugar, I do not like it too sweet.
Always had Apple sauce with pork dinners.
Just chicken now these days.😋
Those flavors go together so well.😘 I liked to cook apple slices with pork chops, I haven’t done that in awhile come to think of it.
Good Monday morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. A humid night and a humid day today day today a high of 70F and no rain about for most of the week.😏. We still have drought conditions in many parts of the country, crazy for the time of year. Head lights on for our drive for the paper this morning, no sunshine today. That particular Squirrel disappeared and the one coming now just rushes away if we step outside.
The birds are at my bird bath all through the day now Jenn big ones and the Finches.
Mostly to drink but the pigeons like to splash around in them.🙄
We are showing some rain on the weather app, but just showers nothing like real rain fall yet.😘

What a day! Cody/Laura got here around noon, left about 4p; the boys got a lot done. Laura and i had a wonderful visit while I got a couple bags ready for Goodwill. I do like that woman. She took 2 big plastic tubs filled with my hats, along with another of purses/totes to donate to the Colo Spgs Community College theater department. I’m so happy they’re going to get some use. I was at a loss as what to do with them. I’m sure i have plenty more things that can be used as costuming. And a gazillion pairs… Read more »
