I stood outside for 30 minutes this morning. I took 57 pictures and got one bat shot…delete delete delete.
Bats are very hard to capture.

I was lucky enough to capture just one!! It’s hard to know how many are flying by when they are few and far between….could be just one or two. A few years back there were so many it was easy to get pictures of them. 2021 there were so many

Our newspaper has decided NOT to publish the paper on major holidays and Federal holidays. Rick isnt happy and neither am I because I bet the price will be the same…..it is $1200 a year which is too much to pay.

And our paper isnt printed in Tucson anymore. It is now printed in Las Vegas so I am not sure how it gets to Tucson now…..do they fly it here on a plane? Just crazy isnt it?

Temps got down to 46 overnight; reached 84 this afternoon. The overnight is cooling the house down enough so i don’t have to use A/C; house is keeping between 69-75 so A/C can remain off.
Watched RJ Decker from Tues; that guy’s life is a mess 😄 And I like that show more every week.
Chuck has jury duty Friday, the 9th, I’ll have the house all to myself. 😊

Seeing these shrimping boats made me think of the Crown Royal at Hog Island back in the day. One of the worst things in Maine that ever happened when all the shrimp boats were grounded. It has been since 2014 when they could operate and they say possibly 2028 they can start again.
Such a devastating blow to the shrimping economy. 😔

Good Morning! Sunny and 67 going up to 84. Late yesterday afternoon I dropped off the chicken casserole, sides and dessert at Jim and Gigi’s. Jim texted me later and said, “This is a really good casserole, Kathy. Oh root canals are not fun. I am glad that it doesnt hurt all the time. Do you have dental insurance? We do and it sure comes in handy.
I put a little of the Clinique double faced powder on…at $40 I didnt want to to put it on my face. It works better for me over foundation but I really dint put enough on for the full effect.

Good morning, It rained overnight but clearing now and by 9am should be sunny the rest of the day.🌞 Sis Barb met us for breakfast yesterday and we had a fun visit. Then we went to camp and worked a few hours but are finished up now. Well except for Damion meeting us on Monday to put the big outside table into the shed for the winter. I cleaned the bathroom and outside refrigerator and steam moped the Cedar wood floors and vacuumed. It looks so nice and everything clean and ready to open next Spring.
