I just laid low yesterday. I caught up on recorded shows ans watched some College football.
We had pizza for supper. We had one heck of a rainstorm after I got in bed and both cats were out in it. But they are safe and sound.
We knew Hurricane Rachel was coming from the Gulf of Mexico…maybe more today.

Good Sunday morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. Pitch black this morning at 7-00 but not too cold today, We have a week of above average temps with some rain expected. I saw a report yesterday that for our country to be over the drought it will need a 120% of our average rainfall for 7 months to replenish the water table and the aquifers. Good afternoon, last day of having to get up and not lie in bed as Mark flies back to Perth tomorrow so I will be alone again. It has made me realise how solitude affects a person in so many ways which one doesn’t notice until you are among people and you wake up to being an actual human being ! Good morning, The sun is up and it is going to be a nice day. The hurricane has hit Florida and so many without power, downed trees and flooding threats. Prayers for all in the line of this danger.🙏 I hope it will not be bad for Kathy, I think it is further inland from any of the Carolinas. I decided to go to Freeport yesterday. Good morning! I didn’t do too much yesterday except I went for a walk in the morning The sunrise and the clouds were beautiful. Then I gave myself a pedicure and polished my toenails. And then I applied my nails which are glow in the dark and I can see them glowing. I got chewed alive by mosquitoes when I was outside doing my nails I even put on Off spray but, the can was on empty so then I used a product from Avon’s Skin So Soft it didn’t help either and it was very greasy so I threw… Read more »

I remember using skin so soft for stopping bites and it didn’t work and as you say it was a greasy mess. That was back in the 80’s or early 90’s.
It still was a greasy mess but I knew I was going to shower after i did my nails.
At least your skin was soft. Why they made such a greasy oily product I wonder?

A cool night and a cool morning just 40F at 7-00 might get to 59F later.
Very dark this morning with full cloud cover going to be a dark ride out for the paper today.
There will not be many people on the roads on a dark Saturday morning.
Web will be back into the upper 60F range next week with some rain around.
