Good Morning! Sunny and 40 going up to 68. Yesterday I focused on laundry. I still have one more load I hope to wash today. Right now I’m running the dishwasher while I eat breakfast. I need to do some grocery shopping today or tomorrow. One day this week I hope to place a curbside pickup order from BJ’s. Lauren’s 20th high school reunion is this weekend. I think she plans to drive here Thursday after work and drive back home on Sunday. I can’t wait to see Lauren 🤗 Here’s another pic of signs from the wall of the… Read more »

Good morning, 36 degrees, just a tad better than the 33 yesterday morning. It is sunny and warming up to 56 today. Yesterday was beautiful to be outside, it warmed up and no wind at all. We took a country ride and we drove past a house that had just burned flat in the wee hours of the morning. Denny went to school with a person who had lived in that house. He stopped and a few people were there and one woman was in his class in school and she was hugging and chatting to him while I waited… Read more »

Hi Jenn.
Lovely country side picture.
Sounds to me very likely someone had Arson in mind.
We had similar incidents around the country, but that is because the government are putting illegal immigrants in small towns and people feel threatened.

People are afraid for sure. This is a lovely country road with farms and local people who have lived their lives there and I wonder why an organization paid that kind of money for a place out there and not in a facility in a city. This guy Chris is a super nice man and the house had belonged to his family years ago. He lives close by.

This was the gorgeous old 1800’s home. First picture what we saw and second around 3am when the firetrucks arrived.

Hi Jenn
Beautiful sky in your photo 💙
Very sad about the fire that destroyed the beautiful house. It certainly sounds like it might have been arson.

Morning! Back to normal in AZ. Yesterday started out cool but ended up at 82° I went to early church and then to the Walmart neighborhood Market to pick up a few things. It is on my way home from church. I have been avoiding my new WM. ….so much going on in the parking lot with the construction of the new Taco Bell but, Rick drove by and saw it is open now. I made  Katie Lee Biegel breakfast granola cookies. I have made them before. The ingredients are peanut butter, oats, eggs, brown sugar, pepitas and cranberries and are… Read more »

Good Monday morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam, Up again at 5-30, seems to be set in stone now. I think the fact that I get a bit wheezy early morning is part of the problem. Hopefully at my appointment tomorrow they can recommend a different inhaler. Just 45F this morning and the boiler has fired up already, must keep warm.lol. Light rain this morning then a part sunny day with plenty of cloud. Looks like we will have some real rain this week, with the possibility of the first named storm of the year. Off in the dark… Read more »

Lovely day, reached 75 after an overnight low of 36. Not much else going on; did fill out my ballot; after much waffling on 1 of the amendments. We can take them to the drop off in La Junta starting tomo.
New Maigret starts tonight on PBS — and it was really good ♥
Ice, if I miss you, good luck at the doctor on Tuesday 🙏
This mural was painted on a large outside wall in Louisville, a small town north of Denver; some really fun things in it
