Good Morning! Today’s high will be 24° degrees colder than yesterday. Raining this morning (expected to end in about an hour), breezy and 54 only going up to 62 (yesterday’s high was 86). Yesterday afternoon I drove down to Jim and Gigi’s for a short visit and to pick up my Pyrex casserole dish. Jim is doing well so far with his recovery and PT. Good morning, It is 44 going up to 54 and high winds for a few hours in the afternoon. It will clear off and be sunny after a rainy day yesterday. I slept so soundly last night, I feel refreshed this morning. Denny started to feel better yesterday and he was not in near the discomfort he had been in. In times of stress we do lash out at people occasionally, but I refuse to believe that you are anything other than a really nice person.😀😘.
I appreciate you saying that Ice.♥ I felt so bad after. I feel I am a kind person and I don’t like myself when I get upset like that.
I didnt mean to sound so harsh either but people do take advantage of people. I realize Denny likes to help and so does Rick but sometimes it is too much especially when Rick has had three back surgeries.
What did you say Ardy? I don’t think you said anything mean that I saw. We both want to protect our loved ones and we are fortunate really to have good hubby’s. I did not know Rick has had three back surgeries. So sad. 😔
Basically that some people ask more than they should of other people but, they do it because they cant do it themselves. When Gary would fall and call Rick he ended up calling 911 because Gary was a big guy and dead weight…he couldnt chance hurting his back.
I remember Rick helping Gary out a lot. Denny and I understand being alone and having health issues makes it very hard for people and I have compassion for them but there is a limit on how much you can lean on another person. Denny has never had a back problem and he pushes himself. I always warn him be careful of your back but it ended up being his chest the muscles strained so hard lifting.
And that wasnt good either 😘

Not much going on here. We stayed home all day. It was SO windy All day yesterday. The wind had gusts up 46 mph. It sounded awful .The wind roared ALL night and still is at 4:00 am.
Rick made the “MN” HAMBURGER HOTDISH that she made and I have continued to make only now Rick makes it.
No Plans except to color my hair this morning and watch some shows I have recorded. I am getting behind.

Tucson is kind of windy, especially in the spring but, this is VERY unusual and historic they say as this has never happened before.
I found out why………..
Arizona is currently experiencing strong winds and wind advisories due to a strong high-pressure ridge building over the western United States and centering near Colorado.
Well that explains it, amazing historic winds/weather!

Good Saturday morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn Pam. Up again this morning at 5-30 and it is a cold morning just 39F. We are in for these temps now for the rest of the week with maybe the chance of some frosty mornings. Will be getting my even thicker cardigan out, I think it is on the cards.lol. Our energy price increase is partly to blame for this government aim to get to Net Zero by 2035.
No more gas power stations to be built and totally relying on wind power and Solar power now.
When the wind blows to hard here they have to turn the power fans off because the network cannot handle all the extra power.
In doing that we have to pay huge amounts of money/ to the wind power owners for loss of revenue.😠😘
I am not a fan of wind power. That is terrible you only have the choice of wind and solar power now and that it is really raising your costs.😣

We have a North Sea full of oil and gas but this government will not allow any new drilling.
So we have to buy what we need from Norway who gets it from the North Sea.🙄😠

Good Morning! Sunny, breezy and 67 at 9:00 AM going up to 88. My apologies for not visiting here for several days. The best way I can explain it is I’ve been functioning slowly with my brain feeling fatigued (if that makes sense) as well as my body. When this happens it’s harder for me to accomplish things. I slept in this morning until 7:30 AM so I feel more like myself so far today. After I finish eating my breakfast I need to start washing the first of several loads of laundry.
