Good morning, its soaking outside as I held my dressing up from the ever growing grass, these birds can eat I am refilling one feeder daily but I like to watch them from my kitchen window ! Hi ice, wrong again but I must say its weird this year and I am sure going to miss my Christmas dinner its going to be a a few days that I hope pass quickly. The silence here is deafening but every so often something happens like the so tiny Robin that hops around my garden, I took a picture of him but he is so tiny that you couldn’t see him but he brightens up the day just watching him ! 😘

I just have Sparrows nothing else seem to visit, there are other birds around but none that come to feed ! 🐦

I had to chuckle over the milk truck because we have similar situations in Maine with tractors. People drive them usually short distances on the roads but so slow going. It can be tiring getting behind them though.

Howdy-do Lovely Early Bird People 🎄 Up early — cleaned the stove/kitchen while waiting for the phone tech to call ⏰ ☎ The tech felt so bad about it not working since Friday; said he really should’ve stopped by to make sure it was working; we chatted for about 10-15 mins; he even gave me his cell# Big relief! Good evening…we went to some stores today…bought a flavored mustard set for my DB (got a gift card too, from farm store), Walmart gift card for BIL, stuffed olives and dill mustard for DH, cat treats, dog treats..and found some cute slippers for my mom to give to me (we do that a lot)…they were considered Christmas items so 50% off, then I got 15% more off for bringing in some donations for the pet shelter (cat food cans and a towel) so they were only $9. I’m tired now..doing a load of laundry and then relax…
Good morning, Very cold outside, 20 degrees. The sun is out now though, to help warm some. I am so sad, Gabe and family will not be able to come for Christmas. Lea’s mother has had signs of Dementia ( younger than I ) and she is now failing quickly and Lea and her sister and brother are seeking care for her. I am shocked we were together at Isabel’s graduation and she does ramble on talking but I did not sense what was happening. I’m sorry that Gabe and family can’t come for Christmas this year. Such a sad time for Lea and her family with her mother quickly declining from Dementia. Prayers for them to be guided to good care for her.
And then to top things off with the sad news about Isabel’s Guinea pig 😪

You may remember me talking of our good friends, Gene and Patty. Patty went into a nursing home this summer, she has Alzheimer’s and it quickly advanced and she was up all night walking and Gene was exhausted and had to put her in the home.It is terribly sad.

Our Daily Mail paper is running a huge campaign highlighting Dementia in this country calling for better screening and much more research, it is one of the main causes of death in the elderly in this country.🙏😥
Denny’s mom died from Alzheimer’s disease. It was horrible.

Rick made an apple pie yesterday that was very good, even with peppermint ice cream.
The apple pie looks good but I would have to have traditional vanilla ice cream with it. I’m not a fan of peppermint ice cream.
Not the best choice for apple pie but I love peppermint ice cream.

Good Morning! It is brutally cold this morning!! The temp is 16 but feels like 9 🥶 The high will only be around 39.
Craig just left for work (7:10 AM) but thankfully I don’t think I have to go anywhere today. However, tomorrow (Tuesday) morning I will need to leave around 7:40 AM to take MIL-Joyce to her routine macular degeneration appointment. The temp Tuesday morning is forecast to be in the 20s 🥶

Yes, Joyce gets a shot in her eyes every 8 to 10 weeks.
