Long story short. Rick got an email confirming his appointment but I knew it wasn’t real because according to the letter we got he is no longer practicing at that location. In fact, nobody is. So he made a phone call to confirm that and his urologist has moved up to the northwest hospital location plaza. So he is scheduled for January 5th which isn’t that much later than Christmas Eve so I guess that’s all worked out.
That is great Rick got through and did not have to wait too much longer for an appointment. 💙
Good Morning! Partly cloudy and 33 going up to 59. All went well with MIL-Joyce’s macular degeneration appointment yesterday. As expected, she was given a maintenance shot in each eye to help preserve her vision. Joyce’s next appointment is in 7 weeks. After I dropped Joyce off at her house I went grocery shopping for a few things at Publix which is on the way home from her house. yes that was rude..I’ve never heard of a company that cleans out the bins..don’t know if we ever have but I guess if it was sticky DH would hose it out..would probably need more than that, though
Good morning, 10 degrees warmer this morning at 32 degrees going up to 64. Denny really needs a warm winter coat, we went to the mall in Myrtle Beach and looked in a couple stores but did not find what he is looking for. It was. People have been treating Vietnam Veterans with much more respect from when they came home from the war. He was part of a draft era and he did his duty to his country.
I have mentioned before I lost a cousin in that war. My Aunt NEVER got over it.

He loves to bark at it Beryl not sure he will pick it up. He has funny quirks ( like not walking on uncarpeted floors ) and he does not like the feel of many things in his mouth. He never would play tug with a rope toy or we tried a knotted stocking but he loves Frisbee, catching the big thing in his mouth..

Exactly!! My brother’s best friend was drafted and is an Army veteran who fought in Vietnam. It was so upsetting how badly our veterans were treated back then. It does my heart good to read stories of folks being thoughtful and supportive to them now 💗

Bane would love the toy and the noise would drive me crazy, lol..we did recently check out some that made noises, one might have been a pig.

Good Morning So happy to have the deer cam back again. I cleaned the house yesterday and Rick hada dental appt. He had a tooth hurting one day but hasn’t hurt since, they took an Xray and nothing looked wrong. Rick got a letter from his urologist and seems they are merging or something. It is kind of a confusing letter but it sounds like his urologist is gone somewhere else and where he was going they are not taking care of patients there anymore. It doesn’t tell where he’s gone. That’s very frustrating with all of Rick’s delayed appointments and now this news from his urologist.
I dont know why his first one was cancelled, they said due to scheduling and it was with the wrong Dr. so he rescheduled it and I am sure he doesnt have one this Wed now……Thank goodness Julie is watching his number.

That does not seem right the doctor’s office canceled Rick’s original appointment and now a letter that is hard to understand about his rescheduled appointment. I hope he can find a good reliable Urologist soon.
That was good news nothing bad showed up on the x-ray for his tooth.
The letter wasn’t about his rescheduled appointment. It’s about the doctor offices merging, I don’t quite understand it, but from what I understand where he was going they are no longer taking care of patients there. This is something that happened in Tucson as of yesterday. My friend from church was telling me about it because her husband now has to drive way across town to the other side for his doctor. She told me what was happening as she works in the doctor’s office
It is hard to lose a trusted doctor your familiar with.😌

Our hospitals are for sick people and people having surgery. Dr’s have their own offices and then we are referred to specialists for other things. We have Medicare and it only costs us co-pays other than that we dont pay a thing.
Good morning, 54F and cloudy no rain thank goodness as parcels are getting wet , I am checking all Nathan’s parcels as they are coming here I have no idea why. I have some of his things in the back bedroom so he is coming over with a van to pick it up when their housing is sorted. I just bought a new jigsaw puzzle, I take my time doing them. I keep one going on the kitchen island and when I walk past I work a few minutes on it. Kind of fun they say those puzzles and other types help the brain. I can use all the help I can get…lol
