Good morning, 36 degrees with a ‘real feel’ of 28. Too cold to be out for long. It was amazingly quiet here compared to last New Years. I heard fireworks from a distance but Danny didn’t even notice which is great. We were coming back and saw Joe outside at his truck, they were just back from their trip. Did you and Denny have a special meal last night? Glad that Joe and Lynn are back, now they can rest up. I saw on FB our pastor Lynn and daughter have the flu and sick in bed.
Oh sorry for your pastor and daughter. You mentioned last week how you had gotten covid at church last year. Did you see them at church last Sunday?
Our special meal was the sandwiches, Denny shopped and bought the rolls and all the fillings and it really was good. He said he didn’t need steak so no cooking for me was the best. Oh also he bought an apple pie which we had with ice cream.😋
I did see Lynn at Church Sunday. I didnt go on Xmas eve…she isnt a hugger so no worries I hope.
Your sandwiches and pie sound perfect to me…Rick goes all out but I am tired of them.

I like different things too Ardy, I am not traditional in having the same things over and over. Denny’s idea for sandwiches was perfect for us.
Good morning I went and had my frames adjusted yesterday. Rick and I went to check out the new LaRosa concert venue for parking since we are going to a concert Saturday night. It was a Catholic church turned into offices and apartments. LaRosa is a stunning new live music and events venue located in the beautifully restored former Benedictine monastery in midtown. Then we stopped at Nancy’s Boondocks to have a beer since Patti was working. I like crab better than lobster…I told Rick he needs to make simpler NYE meals from now on. He pretty much makes surf and turf and I am tired of it….the steak wasnt real tender Steak hasnt been very tender for sometime now. So he might stop buying it.
I agree with you Ardy, steak often is not that tender. I only like the filet steak and that is costly so only once in awhile.
I cannot eat a lot at one time, I have stomach and digestive issues so I snack on healthy foods and some junk foods but small meals.
I cant swallow dry meat like thick pork chops and chicken breasts (depending how they are cooked) and I didnt eat my steak last night after one bite for the reason
Good morning, Well back to the no live pictures after Nathan changing everything on my computer to get the cams running again but this morning its just gone back to to the YouTube set up again so looks like I shall be using YouTube to watch cams and the ones I watch here I shall just have to say goodbye to. Oh goodness! I feel bad for you because i wouldnt be happy either. I think I was the only one that didnt have snow flakes falling yesterday and I was sad!!! It doesnt make sense that this happened to you.

Its to do with YouTube they have a new system and although Nathan changed everything to meet what they needed and it was working fine but this morning it all went mad again , no live pictures here but sending me straight to YouTube again. I am not changing all my setting all the time even though Paul from SPO is very helpful it messes my computer up big time !
