Frost free last night and it looks like we had a shower of rain.
A Yellow warning out again for now showers but just missing my area I think.
Sun shining at the moment 36F a high today.
Next week there is more frost and snow to come in many areas so we might yet get a covering.🙄.
Christmas biscuits now finished back on the bread sticks now with a fresh cup of coffee.😀😘

I have found that getting older you need a routine of sorts makes you feel more comfortable I find.

Today I sorted through the lower cabinet section of the sideboard in our dining room and found some items that I plan to donate. One of the items is a vintage Tupperware chips/veggies and dip server that I bought back in the 1970s. Back in the day it got lots of use but it hasn’t been used in more than 20 years. In fact, I didn’t know that I still had it until I found it today, lol.

I just threw out some tupperware containers with lids that were in the cupboards and I hadnt used them for 20+ years.

Some of the old Tupperware items I threw away because they were not in good enough condition to donate.
Good Morning! Sunny and 39 going up to 54.
Craig and I didn’t stay up until midnight like we used to do but we almost did as we went to bed around 11:30 PM. We were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was as there were no nearby fireworks. No complaints from us 😊 We both slept in until after 7:30 this morning. Needless to say Matcha and Chai were more than ready to eat their breakfast, lol.
No set plans for today yet except for washing a load of towels.
Sounds like a nice and relaxing new Years Eve for you and Craig.💗

Beryl said flowers……I saw snowflakes on my phone, they didnt work on my laptop ……I saw the confetti. There wasnt enough time to take a screenshot and I am not good using my phone for screenshots.

Today is Jan.1 and time to order “free” OTC products from our insurance but Cigna changed names to Health spring and of course it is NOT acknowledging our accounts like it is supposed to so I will be calling them when they open this morning.
I wonder why things are never easy???

It’s so frustrating that things keep changing! Last evening I wanted to check my SSA statement. When I tried to login I discovered that you now have to prove who you are by taking a selfie and a photo of your picture ID. It was late in the evening so I decided to wait until another day to take care of that. It used to be so much simpler to log in to SSA and I preferred it that way.
It is harder now getting into SS. I had to take a selfie and they did not accept it at first. A real fiasco!
Today I finally had success getting my driver’s license and selfie accepted so that I could access SSA.
I have never logged into SS. I always look at it on my bank statement.
It seems now on most sites you have to get a code first. Ugh
