Good morning.
It rained all day long yesterday. I believe it looks like we had over an inch of rain, but I will check it this morning once the sun comes out. I didn’t do much yesterday. It was kind of a dreary day so just took it easy. Rick made vegetable soup and it was very good. We are meeting Rick’s steps sisters and brother for lunch today. Can’t wait to see them, Beth lives in Phoenix. And Jamie and her husband live here

No frost last night but still very chilly but we could get to 43F later,
Storm “GORETTI”arrives this afternoon with high winds and heavy rain.
They do say it could turn to snow overnight tonight with a few inches on lower ground.
Winds gusts on the Cornish coast could reach 90mph and inland up to 50 to 60 mph gusts.
Very quite at the moment with just a gentle breeze but cloud building up.
Time now for a warming cup of coffee and bread sticks.😀😘

We normally do ok in my area during bad weather very rare to get a power cut.😀😘
Just talked to Audrey again, she said Deena is seeing a cancer specialist today over the lump.🙏

I have been talking with my sister Audrey, she is quite concerned about Deena who is very sick. She got sick over Christmas being with her big extended family. She has COPD and is prone to pneumonia since she has had it twice. One of the last winters we were in Florida she was admitted to the hospital for a week with pneumonia. I am very worried about her. Thank you Ice, I am pretty upset worrying over her. She has 6 children and more grands and great grands then I can keep track of and most live near her. Wish she had stayed home for Christmas but they came after her. 😏 Knowing her so well she would not have stayed home anyway.

I have COPD but not that severe, I do use twice daily a powder inhaler which helps me breath better.
It is not easy to live with and it sounds like Deena’s COPD is pretty severe if she gets pneumonia through it.
Surprised the Doctors do not offer a solution to that, I cannot think they would not offer treatment very quickly for a blood clot which could travel anywhere in the body.😧

No Barb is but I am close to Deena mostly because we spent winters together in Florida for years. She lived away in Wisconsin several years. We do have similar interest, quilting and sewing and we did many projects together.

Good Morning! Cloudy, foggy and 49 going up to a near record high of 73. Above average temps expected here through Saturday before colder temps return. Craig is at our dentist right now. They were able to see him at 7:00 AM and determined his broken tooth is worth saving so he’s getting another crown $$$. Craig and I enjoyed our visit yesterday with his mother Joyce. Yeah. When we learned that Joyce wasn’t keeping her cell phone with her at all times we finally convinced her she needed the lanyard style phone case. I’m glad we found this phone case for her on Amazon.
