This was posted 10 hours ago. There were sirens going by all night it seemed. Many accidents people out driving for fun in the snow! The roads here are not prepared. Conway Police Department, South Carolina Remember the we are keeping receipts bit? #6 – MVAs Since 6:00 PM, we’ve racked up 6 MVAs or as y’all say wrecks, yes, six. Crews are on scene at Millpond Road and Main Street. Downed lines, a busted electrical pole, a wrecked vehicle, and a full crew of police, fire, EMS, utility workers all working to clean it up. Some may now… Read more »

Good morning, Danny let out a big bark just after 5am! I got up after restless sleep from the full moon shining through the high windows and the roaring wind gusts. Yesterday Denny pulled a pair of over the ankle shoes out from the back of his closet and with heavy socks, my long warm coat, hat and gloves, Danny and I ventured out. We have 6-7″ at least. Danny started rolling in the snow as we walked to the back of the house. I usually go out the back door from the sunroom in the morning but had to… Read more »

Just saw our real feel is 6 degrees. No wonder it feels so cold especially with those wind gusts.🥶

I feel so bad for you guys dealing with the snow and extreme cold ❄️🥶 This is everything you thought you’d be avoiding by moving to Conway. This is not normal winter weather for your area.

It hurts my heart to read about these men who work so hard and then such a tragic terrifying death. 😥

Hi Jenn
I was wondering if you got snow. It sounded like a restless night…..hopefully it will be over soon. Glad you are safe.

Thank you Ardy, I did almost fall when I stepped into the driveway and there is ice ( I think from the drain pipes ) and slipped a bit.😟

Hi Jenn
Such a tragedy for the six who perished when the fishing vessel sank 😢
I’m glad you didn’t fall when you took Danny outside this morning.

Good morning
I went to Target and Walmart yesterday morning. We had a lovely day of 76° and will be 78°…….not rubbing it in as Kathy’s snow looks so pretty.

Good Sunday morning.
Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam.
A cold and miserable day to day so sunshine today.
Light drizzle falling on our little trip this morning, not much changing for the coming week either.
Back home now paper in hand and that’s me done on the key board for the day.
Nice and warm now and I hope Kathy and probablyJenn are enjoying their snow cover and you are all safe and warm.
See you all tomorrow Lord willing.😀😘

Good morning Ice,
I have to say I am not enjoying the snow or bitter cold howling winds.😏
Sorry your not having a nicer day then drizzly rain.
See you tomorrow and hopefully we both will have sunshine.🌞

Thought you’d never be using a rain gauge to measure snowfall 😟

I’m a little surprised they sell snow meters in NC — and glad they do!

Ryan Hall Y’all YouTube channel is based in Pikeville, Kentucky. I ordered it a few years ago from his merch shop shopryanhall com because of the usual few inches of snow we get every few winters.

Just finished reading Jacinda Ardern’s book, A Different Kind of Power. She was 37 years old & the Prime Minister of New Zealand during Covid. 💖
