Morning!
We went to the gem and mineral show yesterday, photos below.
Its 53 degrees at 4:20 so it stayed warm overnight.
Hi Ardy
Sounds like something Craig and I would enjoy.
It is interesting and LOTS to see.
Good Monday morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. At last we have a dry day today although very chilly in an ENE wind gusting to 25mph. It will stay cloudy all day so no uplifting sunshine today. Of course it will not last my weather app showing 100% chance of rain again tomorrow. We could even see some Wintry showers by Friday.🙄. Getting tiring now all this wet weather. Just have to stay in the warm and ride it out until Spring arrives. Hope you stayed safe and warm yesterday Kathy and Jenn. Time for my coffee and sticks… Read more »
Hello Ice
Did you enjoy your day off and have chicken parma?
Hi Ardy.
A lovely lazy day plus of course the Chicken Parma.
Never get tired of that.lol.😘
Good morning Ice,
Seems pretty sure you will have rain tomorrow with 100% chance.😬 Not fun weather for sure.
Most people seem winter weary at this point. My sis Barb’s car battery will not turn over. I hope it will recharge, she has not driven in nearly a month with the storms they have had. It is in her garage. Her daughter lives across the street from her and shops for her and takes her some places.
Hi Jenn.
I did not like that 100% chance one little bit.lol.
My old dear was struggling a couple of weeks ago with the cold weather but I was able to charge the battery at home.
I have had a battery charger for years and what a blessing that has been when the battery runs flat.😘
It is great you have a battery charger at home. Hard on the vehicles with the terrible cold weather and lack of use too.
Hi Ice
Thankfully we stayed safe and warm yesterday.
Wonderful Kathy.😘
Prayers for folks in the storm 🙏 Stay safe/warm and keep the power on 🙏
We went to one area of the Tucson mineral and gem how today. To see it all would take two weeks. It was hardb to find parking since they are charging $10 in the lots and Rick wasnt paying $10.

We checked out a new mural and took pics of old hotels with neon signs
Whoever paints these murals is amazing. Conway has painted murals on the old brick buildings in downtown.
They are local artists…..This guy is Ignacio
Gorgeous mural 💖
Amazing mural!!
Amazing pictures! Such a huge skull in the 1st picture.
I think that would be fun seeing the minerals and gems. Gabe and family went to one in Maine and bought me a pretty white gem shaped like an arch. It fell and broke so I have the pieces in a cut glass dish. I felt so bad, it was fragile.
I bought two small pieces from Argentina………..Rhodochrosite: Argentina’s National Stoneand a fish from some kind of stone
Lovely pieces 💖 And such a fun day;
😪
Good late morning..we’re going out to McD’s this morning and a new little antique shop..well not new but she moved to a different building. We went to FIL’s last night, showed him pictures of dogs, birds, and a picture of DS in Japan. Also I chatted with the caregiver, a newer one, she’s really nice.
Hope you enjoyed going to McD’s, I like the biscuit egg and cheese sandwiches for breakfast but we seldom ever go.
It is reassuring to have a new nice caregiver I’m sure.
HI Jenn…we don’t go nearly as often as we used to (once a week or so), now maybe once every month or so..maybe twice when it gets warmer..we use the app so get good deals and free coffee, etc..we go before running errands on Saturdays mostly..sometimes on a Sunday
Hi Lynn; glad you like the caregiver. And showing FIL the photos 💕
Sun effects shadows of icicles on the window blinds in our home office 😎
The icicles hanging off the gutter outside of our home office.
Pretty icicles and glad you have power. Stay warm Kathy♥
❤️
Very pretty Kathy, you catch the nicest shadows with sunlight.💜
Thank you 💜
Good Morning! When I got up around 7:30 this morning it was 12° but felt like 2° with the wind chill. At 9:35 AM it is sunny and has warmed up to 18° (feels like 7°) going up to 31° with NW winds 10 to 15 mph. Thankfully we never lost power overnight and hopefully that remains the case today.
This morning when the sun had risen I noticed the pretty but dangerous icicles hanging off of our neighbor’s gutters as well as ours.
I hope they dont fall on anyone!!!
years ago when we had a mailman (now we have a mail lady) an icicle fell on him..I heard him cussing, lol
😬
