Hi Gabi. Hope your day is going good. I haven’t done a lot yet. I can’t remember if I told you this. I’ve been working on cleaning the fans we use for warmer weather. I use one year ‘round in my bedroom. I’ve been bending over a lot. I think the dizzyness I get bending down and holding that position for a short time is one reason I had trouble loading the scooters, especially the smallest. Good advice Gabi. Last time I saw the doctor she thought maybe she should reduce the Wegovy, the GLP-1 semaglutide. She didn’t want me to loose any more weight. Good afternoon Gabi, we have another beautiful day. My trip to Somerset was good. Jo saw the eye doc while I took my car for service. One tire was only 10 psi. It had been plugged, but they could not find an air leak. He told me to just watch it, bring it back if needed. I won’t for this problem, I’ll take it to our tire place. I don’t think I’ve noticed any oil on the ground. We have 4 vehicles just the two of us, so we rotate them so they don’t sit a long time. That is not good for the vehicle. They are old vehicles. A funny story. When I got my manual Toyota I could not drive it. I had never learned. I did manage with help to drive a used one like it for a short distance with help and jerking. My doctor may be unhappy with me, want to reduce the Wegovy dosage. That is not my problem, I have a good appetite. It is my brain scared to eat more, figuring out the right amount to be steady. My doctor said older people need a little more weight in case they fall they have some padding, in case they get sick they have a little extra to not get too skinny while recuperating. I was very upset about Karen Carpenter. She was a down to earth celebrity, no ego, loved her family, sung beautiful songs like an angel. The public knew of her illness. Polishing the lens is easy. I’m still a little afraid of it even though I wasn’t when I had it done. Jo had a “floater” and the doctor did laser to break it up. My cousins hubby had detached retina , when they were on holidays in turkey. Some specialist there did a great job. Laser, removing the vitreous humor and putting some gas in – instead, to have pressure in the eye to keep retina in place. Had some problems in airplane . Hi Gabi, I got my cabbage cooked, a small amount of laundry, ordered some groceries for pickup tomorrow, washed dishes, balanced a check book. Just little routine things. I saw on the news, that there is also a heat wave in usa, sorry for that. Since months i dont use butter, but the taste of it is good. Oh my… I understand the way now, how you order your food . You hear a lot of American. The reflecting pool is the water you see between the Washington Memorial and Lincoln Memorial. Our president wanted to repair it and paint the bottom a darker blue like the blue in our flag. Before the blue was light blue. Then after painting it his motorcade drove over the new liner and paint in the big limousines. Then they filled with water. The olympian sure wasnt able, to cut ALL the jagged edges in this liner. How did the algae grow ? Maybe somebody unfriendly put fertilizer in this pool, or , if there is grass around the pool, grass had fertilizer on it and wheels of stupid drivers carried fertilizer in the pool. Here in this country if we rent we cannot make changes to the property, it belongs to the landlord. Well, we could if we ask if it is privately owned by individuals, not large companies or investment firms. Thank you Gabi. I planted most of those trees. Yes the barn is where the cats lived. They were well taken care of, even had a heated pad made for outdoor pets. These pictures were taken a few years ago, and that car was the neighbor’s car. I have a similarly colored car now.
Such a barn, a comfy pad and even heated pad in winter makes a perfect cat home.
I saw a nature show on tv a while ago, they said that mice would be the perfect diet for cats. Your barn cats probably caught some mice, too, so it was their perfect life.

People don’t want to have upkeep on their homes, one of the reasons many young career college graduates rent apartments. I was up this morning at 4-30, opened my windows, it had cooled off a little and the romanians under me still had their windows closed. ( They usually open their windows at 5 am. Hi Gabi. It was a surprise seeing the deer eating. I’ve lived here 45 years and have seen deer only a few times, and they were always moving on like at a trot. I live sorta in town but on about 2.5 acres but house all around. But I guess as the eagle flies, it is a short distance from farm land.
So nice that you saw the deer. I think i never saw a red deer in germany, we have roe deer. I see those often. In scotland we saw a LOT of red deer. We were there in october, rutting season. I saw them fight….
Also white tailed eagles, golden eagles and osprey in scotland.

Yes he does. He eats my stuff of course, eats other and more food during the day at work , he needs more calories than i do. But he eats healthy. He either takes his food to work from home or gets it in a supermarket close to his work-place. You are 100% correct. I am working toward the stabilizing of the weight, learning the amounts to eat. This morning I weighed 131, or 132 I forgot now, but I think 131. We weigh I smallest in the morning, and a little less clothing in the morning and summertime. You gave me an idea. I’m going to try to find the Palmini and try it, but also try mixing real rice with Palmini. Maybe it will be hard with the food to tell the difference and still cut the carbs. And try the noodle version too. I’ll figure it out.

I ordered some Palmini yesterday, the rice version, they make a pasta version too. The Palmini has a lot less carbs and the Konjak can cause gastric problems. I still plan to try it, just picked to try Palmini first. Thanks for your info.

It was just an idea, i wouldnt eat it, if it is not 100% safe. I was reading today , it got stuck in peoples throat and caused problems. It swells up with saliva and people cant breathe. No no no.
