Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

I have to log in when I leave site and come back.
I have been having posting problems all day😩 too
😥 💐
My roasted okra and a little bit of mushroom. Not slimy at all. I put the oven on airfry but didn’t use the basket so it is sorta halfway roasted, half air fried.
The okra looks delish Debbie😋
It is good.
are they tuff or easy to bite? did you boil them first?
No and no. Not tough just a little firm. Okra has some fiber but not tuff.
That looks good
Do you eat all of that or freeze some?
I eat it over about 4 days. I did make more of it, but it is in a single layer.
I was just wondering, might not be the best if frozen. Did you coat it ?
No. Sprayed with olive oil, salt and minced garlic. I couldn’t find powdered garlic. That’s all.
sounds good!!
Yum
I checked my first aid kit and I have everything I need to dress my burn even burn cream, so no going to Walgreens to get stuff😃
You are well prepared. Does your armpit burn, or chest?
My arm pit has a burn there in the front part and that goes down my outer breast area but its half as bad as my wrist, my wrist will have the skin that’s scalded will peel off its a first degree burn like a very bad sun burn
I’m sorry Julie. That has to hurt.
Its doing much better now😘 not that painful two small blisters that’s why I have to cover it to stop infection, the blisters are right in the middle of the inside of my wrist the skin is so thin there, blisters are second degree burn
Sounds like you are taking good care of it.
I talked to Judy she says I have to pop the blisters and scrub my wrist to kill the germs, leaving the blister can cause infection. I’m going to take a shower and clean my arm, I finally ate some thing
Don’t pop the blister. Take a sterilized needle and got into the side, make a very small puncture and gently squeeze out the liquid. Try not to tear the skin, it is thin and delicate.
I need to debride it that means removing the blister skin so bacteria can’t grow under the skin. It can’t stay on
Do what works for you.
My burn feels much better the ice water was the way to go has helped reduce the pain😍
oh good
It is good, how was church today?
