Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Oh no! Julie I’m so sorry about your burn. I know that hurts so bad. Ice water makes it settle down a little bit, like you already have done. I’m still so sorry for you. The best thing to do now, I guess, is put antibiotic ointment on it and cover it. Julie you asked me how church was….it was Family worship Sunday, every fifth Sunday of the month is, no Sunday School.
We had pom poms today and a bubble machine in the courtyard after church. My friend Candace has been giving me things her niece makes. Today she gave me the cutest mouse. Candace is not good at taking pictures…..lol
Last is our trophies for donating the most peanut butter of all participating churches in Tucson.
