Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Our neighbors on the corner are moving Two guys live there. Rick talked to him this morning and whoever owned the house has now sold it again so I wonder what will happen now I imagine somebody rent it out or sell it Oh goody I sure wish we could talk the new person that bought the house into getting rid of that aluminum fence that the one girl put up and now we can’t see anything

21 days till the first day of fall
Back from running errands was a interesting time. The way I usually go I couldn’t go that way which is a shorter walk the street was blocked off by police and they had guns out. I think maybe a drug bust going on, I’m not sure? when I walked pass again they had long guns out😳 I got the heck out of there. Turned the AC on home and having coffee😍
Oh dear Julie I’m glad you didn’t get shot! So many innocent people die from stray bullets, including children.
I just got out of there fast-kind of scary seeing the big guns out, Used to seeing guns in holsters on hips not the swat guns😳

Did i tell you i record mystery movies on PBS and i went to watch one yesterday and it ended up being a special on Dolly to my surprise. I usually dont watch these things but I did and how interesting learning abut Dolly and the next episode of the movie is the second half of Dolly, looking forward to watching it.

I finished cleaning this morning. I am meet Lori for lunch at Ole at Noon. I used to work with her and it has been many years since I have seen her. Her and her first DH lived down the street from my mom. We always thought Rick and i would live in moms house and her and i would drink coffee together. Her oldest son dies of an overdose after being clean….and his friends took his money and left him to die.
So we are looking forward to meeting up.

Rick and I decided we didn’t want to live up there It was too far north for us We like being central where everything’s closer and the yard wasn’t fenced in She lived on an acre lot.There were mountain lions out there at one time and big snakes etc. and our pets wouldn’t have been safe so we opted to stay in our house and we sold it and real nice split the profit
You made a good choice as far as safety reasons😘
for our pets yes and location wise it was too far to drive to all the places we go…..she was more in the foothills with a beautiful view of the mountains though.

The wild life wasnt there much but,,,,,,,our pets wouldnt be safe outside and our cats are indoor/outdoor
If there were mountain lions YOU wouldn’t be safe out there.

There was only one spotted Julie and the whole time she lived there so it wasn’t a big deal
One going through, that’s not bad, but you still would of had to be wary because they stalk and you don’t know they are there or that your being stalked
Not common for mt lions but it is the desert and wasnt real built-up like it is now

😢 that’s so sad they were under the influence and didn’t think about calling or because they use drugs no one had Narcan to give for an overdose, they grabbed money for their next high though. you can get Narcan here if your a drug user. I have some Incase someone needs it in a emergancy
Good morning Bella Buds. Seems everyone will be hot today. This is probably the last really hot weather for us. I hope I can get over my tiredness today. I have been unusually busy for a week. And Jo is getting on my nerves. Not being able to read or play her games is making her cranky, especially at night. I understand but it isn’t easy for me either. Jo? Nancy has MD. Jo has a lens implant that has slipped out of place, so basically she has no lens to look through. It is a shame she has had to wait so long. She started out with eye pain and the retina specialist sent her for cardiac tests, thought the blood might not be getting to the eye. Stress test, I think echo. Then she saw our ophthalmologist who thought dry eyes. I can’t remember if she saw that retina specialist or not again, but the last one she saw was a retina specialist from the same bunch… Read more »

Good Morning Debbie, poor Jo, I would hate not being able to play my games its relaxing they also are addicting-not being able to see is a big thing that we take for granted

Get her a coloring book with big designs? I’m not sure how much she can see?
She wouldn’t want to color. Thank goodness she can drive. She goes all over just about every day. Most people go to recycling no more than once a week, she goes most days. She would literally drive me crazy if I had to drive her everywhere she wants to go. She can watch tv but interferes with what I can watch. Usually she doesn’t care about tv because she rather play her games. So I have to watch a lot of my shows on my iPad. That interferes with posting here on my iPad which I do a lot when… Read more »

Some people like to argue, it also changes peoples personalities
I think it accentuates whatever mood you are in. It removes all your restraints. If you are in a good mood you get silly. If you are sad you feel sadder. If you have an aggressive personality you may get violent.
It makes people bi polar they can go either way
