Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA

Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.

There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Yes I heard that too can wipe out humanity in 10 years, I personally don’t trust AI at all just because something like this could happen, the technology is there. The whistle blower quit his job because he feels the threat is real😲

I still remember when Hilary Clinton ran for President and how on Facebook they made it look like she was angrily saying all kinds of things. Then they made Nancy Pelosi look drunk. Lots of people really thought they were seeing Clinton and Pelosi. And that was at least 10 years before AI was released.

I hate AI

KyDebbie

I like when I google but I don’t want it any smarter than that. I hate it when I can’t tell if a video or a story I read on Facebook is real or AI. I want it to find what has been written by real people, but not generate stuff on its own.

There’s a Star Trek/TNG episode called The Arsenal of Freedom/Season 1. When AI weapons keep adjusting/correcting itself until all humans on the planet have died. It was a frightening episode; In light of what’s going on in today’s world, it’s even more scary.
Gene Roddenberry was a man way ahead of his time.

I am sitting in the crowded waiting room of the ortho doctors of this practice. 😁 i just read some posts and am tying to remember what I wanted to say. First, I do not have benadryl. I didn’t know it would work for a food allergy. I will buy some. I don’t eat avocados, s0o I am safe there. Night moon veggies, never heard of that, Julie. 🙂 Longest match on record, Debbie? Again?! 😅 Sorry I missed it. If i had ESPN, I would have been watching it. Watching while I itched! 😂 Ardyth, I am sorry Nikki… Read more »

Hi Karen…that doesn’t sound fun, sitting and waiting. The veg. Julie mentioned are night shade veggies. Yes, you can use Benadryl, might help. I have Benadryl cream for “the itchies” and when I have an excema flareup.

Karen the doctor might give you a prescription for the itch, I don’t know. If a nurse practioner or physicians assistant comes in they might too. Good luck on the visit. It was not necessarily the longest match, just the latest time for a match to be completed in the history of this tournament. 3:30 am their time, ET.

Hi Karen. Yes, Benadryl does work on food allergies. I was glad that I had some even though it was old because my lip and mouth started swelling up. So after eating avocados or I should say guacamole twice that Ricard made. I never ate avocados again cuz nothing else in it ever affected me. Nikki’s really not under the weather she congestive heart failure. She is headed for 18 months now. She has lived longer than they say. They live with it so she’s just being finicky about the hamburger that we’ve been giving her for 18 months with… Read more »

Back from the Vets Jade is fine a little over weight, her teeth were good but suggested the use of Aquadent to keep them that way so I got some you add it to her h2o. She needed no shots at this time. Debbie we talked about rabies and built up immunity-a cat can build up immunity but it depends on the cat, just like people vaccines don’t work the same for everyone its the same with cats, there’s a blood test that can be done to check but its very expensive and its better to just get the rabies… Read more »

$80.00 that includes the mouth rinse too that was $19.50. I have only had Jade at this vet I’m not sure about other vets here? I take her to this one because of the boarding facility

We paid $83 the last time for rabies shot, squeeze anal glands, toenails. No exam. Did NOT see the vet, just the tech. We didn’t buy anything else.

Thanks for asking Julie. I’m happy that Jade is doing well. I told you once she was a little chunk! 😁. But I had much rather have that. Macie is too skinny I think. I’m glad Jade doesn’t need any dental work, it is very expensive!

Yes that’s why I want to be proactive for her teeth and cats get dental problems a lot they, are known for having them, can’t let them get a abcess if it can be prevented

the two we have now had shots at first but like with our others, we don’t do, or rarely, the rabies and other shots..they are inside all the time and we had a couple cats who had bad reactions.
