Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello! We slept from 3:30 to now. Couldn’t get to the vet – car wouldn’t start, looked under hood and found a squirrel’s nest all around the battery. Cables all chewed, some rubber and some wiring. !!!!!! I ordered some probiotic stuff to mix with Dutchess’ food, the vet said that may help her feel better until we can get there. We don’t have anybody around here that we could get a ride from. Folks are pretty snotty. One has been here a year and my other next door neighbor has been here a year and a half. Hi Karen I’m sorry about Dutchess. Poor baby, poor mama. Your vet must be a good distance from you. So you just have the one car? Makes since with your husband not able to drive. I don’t know, do you have AAA? I don’t know if they will come to a person’s driveway. But they might if you paid yourself, and it probably wouldn’t be any more than the taxi. You probably don’t need a new battery, just the cables fixed. Possibly you might get it to start by pushing and twisting the wires together and wrapping good with electrical… Read more »
Amazon prime w/deliver it btwn 4 and 8am tmrw. No vomiting, stools look good, eating pretty much okay, but trouble lying down. Tummy hurts, I believe. Keeps jumping up on me, wanting help. 😢 won’t play. I will think about the electrical tape idea, it could work, i think. I keep forgetting to get AAA. 😵💫
