Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Bella Buds, I’m already is and that. Working on a new “treat box” for Casey. I washed his box. Then I’ll crack his nuts just enough to finish opening them with my hands. Everything that goes into his lined with a paper towel box is prewashed. Fruits and raw veggies. Then every day I make his bowl by cutting into Casey sized pieces from the box, so I don’t have to get out every separate thing out of the fridge, wash, or anything. He gets this usually around 4:30. Good Morning Bellas, Just finishing up raining, Stormed all night woke up to it blowing in my window. Lightning and ka-booms around 4am. But its over and looks like I bet we got a couple of inches of rain. Excited for the Festival and seeing Judy. This Street fair is like a home coming. Everyone that’s moved out of town comes back for this one Festival. I wonder who I will see? have a great Saturday Bellas😘

I just saw this post too Julie, and good morning Sunshine. Sounds like you had a real storm. Karen had one of those last night and saw a big lightning strike.
