Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello…we went to the art fair downtown, met up with my cousin and walked around. We saw the dog trainers and chatted with them, they had a few dogs with them…got some mac and cheese at the deli on the way home, hadn’t eaten yet. I need to catch up on the chat.
An art festival sounds fun, especially with your cousin. Nice to run into the trainers.
yes, it’s a monthly thing and this was the last one this year..the dog trainers were getting one of the dogs used to being around people at events, he’s up for adoption.
Do the trainers work for a shelter?
no but the shelters sometimes ask trainers to help with some dogs so they will be more adoptable.
That is a great thing to do. Oh Lynn, your heart would have melted if you saw the little kitten on the Weather Channel. Apparently it was bring your cat to the game day. They had this tiny precious white kitty on the field that was going to “throw out the first ball”. They used treats to lure it to the pitchers mound.

Maybe we citizens (rich and poor) could donate to the cause and pay for the repairs ourselves. Then WE really would own it. I would donate.

we do a lot of illegal exotic animal trade in the USA. We also do some legal, wonder if that for zoos?
