Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Good morning Bella Buds and happy day to you. I will be leaving in about 30 minutes first for the dentist. Then we will go to Somerset. I count about 8 different stops, and that does not include Walmart. So I’ll see what the day brings. I’ll check in if I can. After we get home I suspect I’ll be comatose until time to feed Casey his supper.
Yall have a great day, get your list done too.
Hey Debbie.. I wanted to catch you before you left today. Good luck at the dentist. Take it easy today if you can, sweetie. 😘
