Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I went into the bathroom and out the window were two deer. They were probably 15-20 feet away. One had small horns, the other no horns. The one with horns was looking right at me. I sorta stood back. I think he wasn’t sure if he was seeing me, maybe he just heard me. They lingered about 5 minutes probably. Then walked to my bedroom area. By the time I got to my bedroom window I didn’t see them.

Our outside temp has dropped from about 88 at 5:30 to 71 now.

Julie: Fish garbage salad

My salad got huge, I just kept putting more stuff on it😋 The beer battered cod I got at Aldes was delish, batter crispy. I cooked it in the oven at 425 for 12 minutes and it turned out perfect-so I kind of had fish fry😃
My salads always turn out big because I do the exact same thing, keep adding. But I am not a fan of blue cheese. I might like it mixed with the French dressing. I got a summer salad that had strawberries, blueberries, walnuts, etc. and I think feta cheese with raspberry vinaigrette. I loved it! Then I got a similar salad at Culver’s and didn’t like it at all. It was because of the blue cheese.
Its easy to make them big have to put on tomatoes, cukes, peppers, scallions, mushrooms, cottage cheese, cheddar cheese😋
I put on all those things except the cheese, but I’ll probably add back just some American cheese, not the cottage.

Yes, fake cheese. I eat very little cheese and that is what Jo will eat.

I love cottage cheese and salads and I also mix it with salsa as a dip with chips

Sorry I popped out I was cooking and success no burnt food made a giant garbage salad and a piece of fish, Its cod from a box. I’m going to lay down and eat in bed😂 I do this why? because I’m an adult and can eat where I want😂 Good night sleep well😘

Nothing major, just old age. Back hurts, feet are swollen, and i’m tired. They will be fixed once I go to bed and sleep. 🙂
So do you have heart problems?
No, not yet. Lymphedema in my legs and feet. And my bones still suffer from previous prednisone use.
There is no treatment for you? Some people have leg pumps to get the fluid moving. Seems there should be a way to reverse those years on the prednisone.
