Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Howdy-do BellaFam 💖🐦 Got absolutely nothing done yesterday 😟 Kept telling myself tomo is another day, but then i don’t do anything on that day either. 🙄 Started raining yesterday afternoon and continued til about 5.30a. Afternoon Pam, those crows are smart and once the discover there’s food around they will come and get it, if there’s a real small kitten the crows will take it and eat it, They take baby squirrels out of their nests and eat them. I have seen it happen. Anyhow yes tomorrow is another day😍 and another and another😂 if you think about it, things get done eventually😘 Love your toon😂

Good late morning…went for dog walk with my neighbor/friend…a bit cool but should warm up into the 70s. No special plans, DH won’t be here at lunch, working out of town, so I’ll take the dogs out or maybe go for another short walk. Last night we went out for dinner, family style restaurant, kind of a last minute thing. Maybe later we’ll go to FIL’s? or the pet supply store? who knows, lol…

I know you will be busy today. I visited Somerset many, many yrs ago with a friend. My friend was from Louisville. Her brother lived in Somerset. I recall visiting a park e route to Somerset; possibly with a name similar to Cumberland falls or something like that. Somerset was very pretty. Green, rolling hills, fir trees possibly???
i recall beautifully colored moths and winged bugs flying around the porch lights on the outside at night. Odd thing to recall, but the colors were so vivid on their wings. A lovely memory that short trip leaves me through the years.
How sweet Lisa, were you living in FL at that time? Who would think you had been to Somerset, the very town I’m going to today. I used to go to Louisville very often, but then we had surgeries and doctors in Lexington and sorta transferred our “city time” in that direction. Lexington is smaller than Louisville and easier and quicker to navigate. Some new roads and improvements were built that made that trip a lot easier than going to Louisville.
Was not in Fl at that time. Alabama. 😣

I got to see Casey in person💚 and pet her kitty Macie. We went to see lake Cumcerland and went out for dinner chinese😋 It was so wonderful to meet Debbie💖

I don’t think they have like a display. I’m sure they have decorations somewhere, but probably not displayed in a picture way. This store is huge and has about everything, but nothing is a display or fancy. Lowes is more likely to have a display than this store.
