Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Thanks Ardy.
MN is on fire tonight
Ty Ardyth. Finishing up Netanyahu’s U.N. speech — then I will watch the game.
I’m home. I’m beat. I brought home a pizza even though I had other left overs.
Lots of meat, bell pepper, mushrooms — my kind of pizza. Who needs leftovers!!! 😂😅 I’m gald you are home safe. 😘
Thanks Karen.
We are making pizzas, not the dough though
Making the crust is totally not necessary even more than raising the pig. 🤣
😆
Stilll thinking on that. 🤔
😁
Looks good we are having similar ingredients
mine has pepperoni, sausage ,bell pepper, onion and mushroom. Rick’s will be delish!
minus sausage and mushroom
Looks so good Debbie😋 and no cooking😘
Yah! Thanks Julie.
I need to cook, wish I didn’t have to its such a chore
Heat soup.
I had soup last night, I’m going to cook a porkchop, I just don’t want to cook😝
Yum!
I dont know what i would do w/o Rick???
Your life would be very different.
Maybe i would be thin
You would be depressed and a binge eater.
yeh i would
That is so sweet. 🥹
You would have to cook
😂😁😍
Yummy!!!! Long day for you. I thought you would be tired.
Hi Lisa yep tired! Or lazy.
I can’t watch the Packers tonight it’s on amazon😩
That stinks
That really doesn’t seem fair. I’m sorry, Julie. I haven’t checked yet, but I probably won’t be able to watch it either.
You know they want us to pay for these channels which i wont do
I know. Me either. They will certainly be disappointed! Can you imagine how much we would pay to get everything like we used to? $700 OR MORE??
Greed!!!!!!!!!!!!
A lot of channels are already paid by the commercials.
Greed is the reason. It’s all about the dollar anymore. It’s such a shame.
Agreed.
I’m sorry Julie. You are local, you should be able to see it.
It’s opening night for the Packers. This really sucks😥
Did you try NBC24?
I don’t get that
Bummer. Seems like you might have it on a local channel, unless they block out local games like they sometimes do here. That way, you are forced to go to the game and pay to sit in the bleachers.
Rick and I went to the bank for our appointment and got everything taken care of, took an hour and a half!! Then I had to mail something at the PO. I have been busy with this and that and watching soaps today, Fever play at 5:00.
Howdy Ardyth so your bank stuff is all taken care of now? no more appointments?
We are all done…..banking stuff takes time i found out.
I am turning 73 so had to set up yearly requirement for IRA’s…required when you turn 73
🥰
I’m glad you got that mess taken care of. What a relief! 😺
Yes, I am happy to cross it off my list!!! Still need to get a Will……….sigh
That’s a nice feeling, especially since it was so messy. I keep trying to do my will, off and on. I just never quite get there.
I meant to send that to Ardyth.
Your fine Lady bug you are just following the conversation😘
Thanks, Butterfly. 🦋 😘 I see that I just missed you this afternoon. 😥 I’m sorry — I was half asleep, I think. I hope you had a great day. I haven’t read all posts yet.
I didn’t do jack today just watched a lot of lives (videos)
Congrats 😘 i remember having to do the same thing; seemed to take forever.
Its done and it will just happen every year so we wont have to go back yearly
