Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

I’m late, as usual. Watching MTV awards now. I’m glad you enjoyed your evening last night, Ardyth. Those drinks sound great. You sure do a good job on Kurt’s hair, based on the picture. He is a nice looking man! I alway always look! 🤣😍 Debbie, I so empathize with you re the printer. Have you queried the internet? I always have trouble with new electronics/internet stuff, too, and that is usually where i find my answers. I get lots of help that way. I’m glad to hear the hospital can get you from parking to where you need to… Read more »
Hi Karen, I actually got my printer to print a paper. I just went and hit the on button. Of course for a wireless printer you shouldn’t have to do that. I think I’m just going to see how I can do with two canes and take a little backpack. If I can’t do with that I’ll ask for help. I really don’t know how much walking. I’ll have to do. I think remembering Dolly will probably be done unofficially by her fans. Elvis’s fans still do it for him.
im going after my supper but I’ll be back.
OK Debbie. Enjoy.
I am.
Hi Lady Bug😍🐞 I didn’t know it was the MTV awards I don’t get MTV😥
It is on CBS.
Thanks Debbie😘it must be over because I don’t have it, I have a movie on that channel
It just now ended.
OK this was driving me crazy😜 I couldn’t find it here it wasn’t on the channel you said something else is on
Oh no, Julie — youtube should have a rerun. It was good. I think you would like it.
I’m not worried about it, I like the music performers, no one I really wanted to see anyhow. They will show high lights on the news anyhow
Tributes to Nirvana-Curt Cobain and George Michaels were pretty good too.
DoLLY TRIBUTE….MAKING ME CRY😪
Got it on.
I KNEW
Ardy is Taylor at the MTV awards? I heard she was supposed to be the big winner.
Yes she is…we are watching now
She is missing Travis’ game!!
Oh dear. Is Travis’ game away, she usually only goes to home games doesn’t she? I thought Travis just played a few days ago, maybe Thursday.
I just heard she would miss his game
She has to take care of her career too.
