Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Joshua Phipps, Sherriff’s dept in my county, was killed just down the road on Sept 16, 2024.

Two similar last names. Until I found it and there last names I wondered if maybe they were brothers. Sometimes family gets in the same profession. Then I saw the last names were different.

Checking back in, I left a 1/2 cup of coffee on a table by the side of my bed and before I could move it Jade knocked it over this is a large mug and she has never knocked this one over before one because its a heavy ceramic mug and with it being heavy I didn’t think she would knock it over but she used her super cat strength
