Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Not yet except for warm house socks for the winter. I wore these out and reordered. They keep my feet warm without being hot.

I liked them. They are like the 3 Bears said, just right. Not too warm or cold. They stay up too and they don’t bind. The 3 pair lasted 6 years. And because of my bad feet I am hard on socks. I partly walk on my ankles.
They come in more neutral colors, those are what I got before. But this time I decided I wanted to have bright socks for the dreary winter whether they matched my pants or not.
YAY!!!!!! socks don’t have to match-you can wear what color or pattern you want. I like not matching anything😂matching is boring shows no creativity you blend into a blob of the same color
Those are some cozy-looking socks.
They aren’t made to wear with shoes, two thick for my shoes anyway.

Hi Karen it just turned out to be a bad day for me. I went and had my flu and Covid vaccine and then I went to Walmart and I knew walking around this new Walmart was going to take a toll on me because it’s bigger and plus I 20 pound bag of bird seed and a 10 pound bag of bird seed and so when I got home I had a very sore back which I normally do and my left foot was hurting me again And then I had restless leg syndrome so I couldn’t even sit… Read more »
Wow! that is really a rough day. I don’t know how you did it. I think I would have turned around and come home after the shots. I’m glad you’re feeling somewhat better and I hope you can get home soon and and do whatever you need to do to feel better. As far as being a mess goes, I think most of us are right there with you. My left foot is hurt for years I don’t know what’s going on with it I saw a podiatrist many years ago he just told me to do exercises and that was that Julie was supposed to send me to a podiatrist and obviously she never called the referral in
Find the podiatrist that has more letters after his/her name. They have more and better training. That was the kind I went to, and even he wanted me to see an orthopedic surgeon specializing in feet/ankles.
It must really be bothering you as you don’t mention it much. Judy’s foot was hurting her she went to her doctor got a referral for a Podiatrist turns out she has a tear in her Achilies tendon where the tendon attatched to her heal. She just went through a week of steroids and is in PT. She has a walking boot to wear. She has to stay off it so the tendon can reattach its self back to the bone or its surgery for her if she doesn’t follow what the doctor says
Oh dear sorry for Judy but glad she got help.
She’s suppose to stay off of it and takes the dog on a way to long of a walk and then mows the yard and complains that it hurts🙄 and I tell her why go to the doctor if you don’t do or listen to what your suppose to do?
Maybe you need to scare her for her own sake. This is a true story. I had a student who became a teacher and my colleague and then he became my friend. He talked to me about some of his personal fears about ever getting married and having a family and it made us closer. It finally happened. He met his love, had a young son. He was happy. I don’t know, especially in that place. And Judy is a little overweight too.
Judy is fine with her weight she just needs to do what the doctor says- I just talked to her and she had just taken the dog on a walk and vacuumed and washed the kitchen floor and she’s suppose to stay off of it🙄
My friend was really fine with his weight too, and a lot younger than Judy. I’m sure Judy would be fine if she had surgery. What happened to my friend was I’m sure very uncommon. But maybe it would make her think enough to follow doctors orders to prevent the need for surgery.
She knows🙄I swear she likes to complain😜

No I didn’t have any trouble with the vaccines my arm just hurts like it always does. No it was just my back hurt and my foot hurt really bad And then about 5:00 or so restless leg syndrome kicked in so I couldn’t sit still and I couldn’t type anyway because I was in so much pain That always happens to me when I shop oh well

Poor thing. Really coming in from all fronts. Hopefully she had a few drinks or something similar, and was feeling so good she decided to sleep the day away. Seriously, I know we all worry about her and hope she feels better and can get rid of the RLS. 💗 🌹
