Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hey gals I’m here😜 I got some more things done outside. Jade had fun outside she didn’t complain about coming in much she usually growls today not so much she was outside a long time, even got to walk out front. I pulled a ham steak out of the freezer for dinner its thawing😋
Glad you got stuff done and Kade is happy. We eat those ham steaks often. They are ready good and so easy.

This is a real ham steak I got at Aldes it has a bone in it, its not the ham steak I get at the Dollar store they were sold out the last time I checked for one
The ones I buy always have a little bone about the size around of a quarter. Casey likes the marrow.
This bone is about a 1/2 dollar size the steak its self is about a inch thick
That is really thick. The ones I get are only about 1/2 inch.

I’ve been on the phone with sister Nancy, then washed hummingbird feeders and our dishes. I think Nancy would argue with a fence post. I told her I was worried about this place on Jo’s bottom eye lid and was afraid the doctor would not want to do the surgery with it there. I called it a sty. Tell Jo to put a warm compress on it. You think the eye doctor would of addressed it? but if its not infected maybe that’s why? My Dad used to get sty’s and he would do warm compresses on it and it helped him just a idea. Maybe because the surgery is on the eyeball and not the lid there’s not a problem Deep breath Debbie😘
Jo saw a dermatologist not the eye doc. She has been putting warm compresses on it but at first I don’t think she did it enough times a day. I kept telling her she should do it often. I’m the one who kept saying he might not do the surgery but she didn’t pay attention. She started paying attention about 3 days ago but I’m afraid that was too late. She didn’t even call the derm until yesterday about 2:30. Never called the eye doc.
Well have to make some phone calls tomorrow and ask what you should do or rather Jo she needs to talk to the eye doctor-the dematologist is not doing the surgery, leave the derm out of it
I think it is too late to do anything now. They will call from the hospital tomorrow to tell what time to be there Thursday. Jo should tell them about her eye sty. The Derm should have told Jo to call the eye doctor 2 weeks ago. I guess he and Jo really expected it to go down on it’s on. But he should have told her he couldn’t prescribe an antibiotic for her eye and to call the eye guy. The eye doc should have at least been called a week ago.

No. I did find a small amount of an eye antibiotic that will be better than nothing.
Its the eye lid not the eye. using the medication could throw off the surgery too? I would just stick with the warm compress

It was given to me when I got eye mites for use on the eye lids. Erythromycin a very common antibiotic.
But its for mites
No infection caused by mites.

Have a parrot Casey and a cat Macie. My avatar was my cockatoo but we lost her about 2017. She was 28, Casey is now 38. All my family lives around Nashville except a niece that lives in Georgia but spends a lot of time with her daughter in AL. So there you have a little about me.

Lexington news is in my county for a story on the murdered state trooper. They are showing where the trooper went to school, showed fire stationes where he volunteered, interviewing our mayor. They will have more later on about him. He was a good guy and it is just sad. They showed the scum that killed him going to court I guess to be formerly charged with murder. Kill a trooper automatically, if convicted, gets the death penalty. This case makes me want to renege on my life long conviction of opposition to the death penalty.
Oh I didn’t know he was murdered I thought you wrote something about it I guess I thought it was in a car accident. OK i’m resting so I’m not chatting for a couple hours but
It was just a regular traffic stop. The guy is 51 and had a long criminal history. I think he had been paroled but violated parole. He should not have been paroled in the first place. The trooper I think was not aware the guy he stopped was wanted. I don’t know if the trooper had found out yet when he was shot.
That is so sad. A good life wasted.

I’m a no death penalty, its barbaric and it just lowers you too the same thing the murder did. But I also feel that someone who has a life sentence that we shouldn’t have to take care of them until they die in prison, and that’s a barbaric way to think….Oh I don’t know now-I just don’t want to now about it
