There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

I have to be up and aware tomorrow have someone coming to look at the plant and tree damage from the roofers. They need to send a damage estimate from the damage to the insurance company🙄 I have to talk to her about what I would like planted in place of the evergreen bushes, I would like a couple of hydrangea bushes they would be easy to take care of and would look nice in that spot😍
Those would be beautiful Julie
They would be beautiful I don’t want pine bushes again
