Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good night everyone. We went to Safeway “real quick” to get a couple of things, and then realized we needed a few things from Lowe’s. So we went to Lowe’s, forgetting that it is a shopping magnet, and we were in there for almost an hour and a half. Wore me out. I ate some soup and am going to rest. I probably won’t be up before everyone goes to bed. So I will say good night n ow. Sleep well and have beautiful dreams.

Good night sweet Moonbow. Enjoy your supper, feed your baby, and watch your shows all snuggled in. I brought leftovers from McAlister. I got good stuff. This delicious nacho thing. It was so good. And what they call a pecanberry salad. They have this thing there where you can 1/2 of two regular things to make one meal. The regular size is really big. I ate just part of my nachos and none of the salad, so I got more left overs left than I ate at lunch as first overs.

I think now I remember you saying Sunday. How long will they stay, or are they just going to access this trip what needs to be done. It is so good to have someone you trust 100%, we never really know for sure when we hire workers.
Cody’ll help with some things no one wants an old lady doing; like dismantling superfluous shelving in the garage.🙄 We don’t know why it was installed at all. If there’s one thing this house doesn’t need would be storage. Lordy!

We have been home for an hour. We had a nice lunch and nice visit.
I had a cheese enchilada and tortilla soup. I decided I like potato/cheese soup better.

Not really….I eat very little in chicken and dumplings, mostly eat the dumplings
