Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA

Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.

There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Down to 48 overnight; got to 85 this afternoon. Watched NCIS premieres last night. Recorded RJ Decker; Abbott Elementary premiere is later tonight; the recorder is set.
I’m going to try and cancel the landline tomo; it was Rick’s phone; been trying to do it for the last few weeks. I’m having a difficult time severing that last link.
But this ‘toon made me laugh. ↓↓

Hi Pam. I really did enjoy it. Made me remember one of the really good things about real phones. And it’s so true! 😊

You were need to she the rules before the changes to really know. The original rules basically did not say a lot other than not to disrupt the tone of a chat. The rules now are extensive. You can go to the SPO main page, then to the very bottom of the page and click on chat rules.

For some reason that first post didn’t post right away, or maybe I just couldn’t find it and wrote a second post. Didn’t mean to tell y’all twice.

Hey Ardyth! Been watching since Day 1. You can start anywhere. They do very little back-refrencing.
