Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Hi Lynn ♥
Cat 2 it will weaken as it hits land
Yeah, as soon as it moves inland, the water is what generates the windy wildness.
Tons of rain
@lisacalico what is it doing in St. Pete?
She’s most likely getting the wind
OMGoodness, the Gulf water temp is around 86F, no wonder Isaias got to a Cat 3
Very warm for water. I’ve got the weather channel on. Poor guy is holding on for dear life. Get him outta there!
You know Cantore’s having too much fun to step out of the wind
Is he on Weather Channel?

Stephanie has on what looks like a blue construction helmet to protect her head from flying debris.
