Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. No she came back from that trip yesterday and posted this morning she said she MIGHT come back later on today and tell us about her little vacation, but wasn’t sure about that.

Good evening, ladies! I got my days and nights mixed up quite badly the last couple of days. Haven’t done that in a long time. It’s from getting so tired and taking too many naps. Yes, yes, and yes, Debbie. You are probably right about the reasons for my dreams. I have dreams similar to your’s, but I have never had one that lasts as long as it was true, up to one day, that’s a long time! I do have some really weird dreams, like floating around doing things, or reaching up and grabbing a star from the sky, things like that. They are make believe stuff, but freaky, too. I wish i knew how to avoid it. They are usually just out of the blue. I’m innocently managing my own business, and whush, here comes more! My turn in the barrell, I guess. I can deal with it, but it does interfere with my social life.

Somehow Rays doesn’t fit Baseball to me. I want it to be a swim team, maybe some other pool sport, surfing team, sailing or the like. I’m sure Rays is because they are located near salt water.

Actually started when the team began in 1997, as the name Tampa Bay Devil Rays from the Sting Ray floating in waters. Than the name Devil was removed (maybe they didn’t like the reference). They put a little more emphasis on the actual sunshine 🌞 rays, although still using the sting ray. In the Stadium, a large pool has a number of fish floating. People like it!!! If you recall hurricane Milton in ‘24, completely tore the roof off the stadium.

ohh 😲, I do like your Rays posting Julie. I’ve saved it. Heck, if the bad weather hasn’t postponed the game until Saturday (tomorrow). I think 🤔 it’s 8:00 pm Saturday, and Sunday at 5:00 pm. I just saw the Brewers hat picture of them getting off the plane as they left the nice California weather. Well Julie, I hope you will tune in to the game tomorrow with me!!!!

It must be raining hard, or does baseball not play in much rain?
Can’t play in the rain-it ruins the infeild plus it can get slippery and the base runners can slide and in jure a knee or ankle and no playing if there’s lightning
Makes sense. I don’t think any sports play outside when it is lightning! Tennis on anything but clay can’t play during an even slight sprinkle because of the slickness.
Same thing with the infeild for baseball
