Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello…waiting for DH, we’re going to a thrift shop for Freebies day, lots of stuff outside on tables. I went to church today, was uncomfortable, mostly during the “family discussion” afterwards…discussed changes that were made but our church, the majority of elders disagree and are keeping it the old way..like certain people can be members but not leaders…which is weird to me and just a few others..I got a bit emotional too, good thing I had a kleenex in my purse…I told a couple people afterwards that sometimes I feel I don’t fit in anywhere and how hard it is… Read more »
I hope you get some good freebies today Lynn. I don’t understand exactly what happened at church. I’ll only ask one thing if you can answer, when you say “family discussion” in quotes did you mean your real family, or “church family”? When I was a teenager there was a big controversy among my church members that forever changed my view of my church and organized religion as a whole. Then when I went to college and became more aware of other views it solidified it all.
That is so understandable Lynn. Being emotional is very draining, but it hard to always bury emotions. Try to rest dear Lynn.
