Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Nevaeh and her boyfriend were on their way with Nalani to Sherree’s house as Sherree was babysitting. They stopped for gas and the baby went limp. The boyfriend got the baby out and Nevaeh called 911. They wanted to know the location and Nevaeh didn’t know how to tell them so she ran into the store and told them what was happening and asked what is the address. They wouldn’t tell her! Hello….went for a dog walk with my neighbor…high in the 40s today but sunny and nice! I’m going to do “doggie homework” with the dogs today….not sure what else, I’ll check my list…also we’ll be letting DB’s dog out later and maybe let ours play in his yard.

On the phone with Nancy. The dark baby had a medical emergency. They think a seizure. She is ok this morning but going to doctor. More later.

I’ve got to go to get my Kroger order soon so I’ll tell the story more when I get back. She was in ER yesterday and checked out. They sent her home and told them to call their pediatrician the next morning which I’m sure has been done. I don’t know past that. Bye.
