Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Hello . . . Almost goodnight . . .
We were out for 8 hours!! And we went to 8 different places. No kidding! And i’m not sure what we even did!¹¹
Hi Karen, wow you got around. That is a lot of places. Hope you had a productive doc visit.
Good evening…thanks for the comments about my “puppies” as I call them, and to Ardy for posting them. In the one, I think they are just looking up at DH for some reason…they do look at us if we say “look at me”, that’s one of the first things I trained them to do. Here is what the groomer said above the pictures…”Scout and Bane aways show their love and appreciation with extra snuggles after their spaw days 💕They’re such sweet hearts”….we have such a wonderful groomer, she’s very kind and patient with them. I didn’t do much today, just… Read more »

Such a warm and wonderful little family, Lynn. Thank you for sharing. It’s always nice to see how the kids are doing. 🤗

Oh it turns out Julie was not able to get back online so she called and found out they had cut a fiber optic line in two. So they have to fix it so she is off the internet for the night, I guess tv too. Then she got into a coughing spell and sounded AWFUL. Bless her heart.
My goodness, that poor woman 🙏
Thanks for the update, Debbie ♥
Hi Pam.
Oh no….what a drag. If nothing else i would want my TV to put me to sleep.
Coughs seem to hand on
She really sounded bad. I’d hate to be without computer AND tv. I wonder if she can get any local broadcast channels. Probably not unless she has an antenna.
I’d be reading…hope she gets better soon.
im not surprised about that!
😥😱 🙏
Howdy-do BellaFam 💖
Woke to a nice sunny morning after last night’s rain; it was raining ’til at least 3a. Got to 61 by end of day. My oldest friend, Diana, just got back from a PBS trip to the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA; they were hosting an interactive murder mystery dinner show. Their table guessed it all correctly; naturally they did; she’s one of THOSE people 😄 I say that like I’m not 🙄 I participated in several of those mystery-dinners over the years; they’re so much fun.
Hope everyone had a good/safe day 💕
Hi Pam
Sounds like you are getting some rain, we are cooler too.
