Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Those are Lynn’s babies. The darker one is Bane, the other Scout. They have been to school and everything. They have advanced degrees.
Look at them Debbie. They are perfect!!! I believe it about advanced degrees. I’ve heard her refer to Scout. I was not sure of who Bane is. Is one eye blu and one brown?? Thank you Debbie!!!!

I’m at the tire place getting new stems, no charge. The owner is baffled what happened. He said it is standard practice to replace the stems. He even said he could see them forgetting to do one tire but not all four. He apologized.
That’s good he did not charge you. That would have been a poor business move. Very odd, how all four tires were missed…
well, at least they are being being corrected now.
We have always had good luck at this place and I felt he would make it right. I was ready to pay for the sensors so I understood that part, but the sensors for my car were not attached Ro the stems.

O You are getting just stems. I thought it would be too pricey.
I had to have the stems but the sensors were not attached so there was no charge.
I really meant to say I thought it was going to be a “hard” to do?
Not hard but if the sensors were attached to the stems it would cost about $320, $80 apiece. Even the Honda man said it was bad technology.
