Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. A cow in northern ireland had 5 healthy calves during 1 birth process. Did you know ? Was just a few days ago. All 5 calves and mama are doing good.
This doesnt happen normally, its very very rare.

I googled it and the mom died shortly after… Sadly, while the five calves – two male and three females – are all doing well, their mother has since died.
“She put all the energy into the calves, the calves are in good shape, but it took it off the mother,” Moore said.
“She had an easy calving, the vet said the calves were easy to get out, it was just the stress of carrying so many calves.”

Deborah, the german reports which i had been reading, said that also the mom cow was fine. I did google again and found an english report saying that the mom was dead. So you are right. Sorry. Poor cow.
yeah, I think she was fine for a while but then it just took too much out of her and depleted her nutrients

My uncle himself and my grandma’s neighbors had cows and pigs. I remember working/helping in the stable, clearing the dung out, feeding, bringing the cows from the stable to the cow pasture, helping on the fields. I saw how calves and piglets were born, loved sitting with those little ones. That was one of the best times in my life. I even could milk a cow with my hands, lol.

no big deal, it probably was ok at the time that story came out….I didn’t even know about the story til you put it here and had to look it up to see any pictures, that’s where I saw that the mom was ok for a while but in the end didn’t make it

I boiled chicken , cut it up, boiled cut up potatoes, onion,carrot, kohlrabi,peas in the chicken broth. Added cut up meat, parsley…..ready.😋

Hi Debbie. Got to read the last couple of days. I tried to come on a few times over the last few days, but always got side tracked. Have no idea what the heck I did get accomplished. My desk just keeps getting more piled up. Weeks ago I said today is the day to get it thrown or put away. Here I sit with more! Did some laundry and shoveled the deck twice. Neither took all that long. So, the second egg may not be viable?

First round supposing started on ESPN2 25 minutes ago. I haven’t been there to look. I haven’t checked to see if YouTube has the Opening Ceremony. I couldn’t find it on tv. I like the Aussie open but hate dealing with a 14 hour time difference.
