Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I wasn’t going to do it, but I put the chicken on the front porch last night and it froze so I put it in a pot and cooked it down then I had good broth so just kept going🙄 I didn’t mean to cook
Why didn’t you just leave it frozen? Don’t you still have baked chicken?
I put the baked chicken in a pot with some water and let it cook down it was frozen solid from being on the porch, I had to do that to get the meat off the bone
I thought you baked a chicken in the oven golden brown either hesterday or Saturday? Or do you mean you put the cooked chicken on the porch? The baked chicken now turned into stew?

I’ve used tofu in mostly Chinese food, with soy sauce and vegs

I just cut it into cubes fried it in a little Olive oil added veggies onion, mushrooms,peppers fresh garlic and ginger adds splash of soy sauce and a tea spoon of nut butter, heat and mix well. I love tofu😋 night Gabi have a good one😘

I usually put tahini in it that’s soy bean butter but I used peanut butter
I don’t know how you figure all this out. I imagine I would only think of olive oil.
You just make it how you just use what you like there’s no wrong with tofu
Our tahini is a paste of ground sesame seeds . Pretty good.

Gabi I meant sesame seeds I said the wrong thing I was thinking tempeh, I just had that too
Oh yes, tempeh is soy beans. DD sometimes had it, she said it is good . 🙂

It was snowing when i got up, just a dusting & looked pretty; especially on the black cats’ fur; not miserably cold, 35 degrees with no wind.
Snow stopped and the sun’s out. Sheet day/shower done 🚿 still have to call the HVAC guy — again!

One of my BFFs and i marched in Denver’s very 1st marade/parade; there were also several people i worked with there. It wasn’t as cold as it could’ve been. We had a great time; 5 miles i think with speeches and music at the end/capitol building.

I was unusual coming from where I did. I saw it as a child. I never forgot when I asked a question. I can’t remember the exact question. Probably why so many were against him when he was advocating peace. My mother said because he seems to bring trouble everywhere he goes. I don’t believe my young brain bought that. My mother was I guess like the majority in the south at the time.

I was only barely 15 when he died, so I’m guessing I was 13 at the time.
I was 10.
I was 19, so plenty old enough. In my 40s I visited the Lorraine Motel; it’s a museum now; difficult to go thru, i seem to remember going thru an entire box of Kleenex during the visit.
I was at a math teacher’s thing in Memphis and they offered a “heritage tour” of Memphis. A bus load went, but I guess dumb me didn’t know what a heritage tour was. Most of it was about the Negros’ journey, that was the proper term for them then. I have 3 memories of what we saw. The Lorraine hotel (which looked like a motel to me), the basement of a house that was part of the underground railway, and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
