Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I’m going to go find something to eat. It’s either hamburger patties, baked chicken breasts, or fish sticks. Doesn’t matter which one really, I’m so starving right now. Maybe one of each! I would have stopped for fast food, but nothing really sounded good.

None are cooked, so I will probably pick one. Today we went to walmart, to the pet store for a couple of little toys with the squeakers in them. They only last about an hour, so she doesn’t get them very often. Stopped by the ARC thrift store for some unique finds. None today. Went to the lake and ate cookies. Sat at the picnic table for a little while and watch the ducks. Couple of other places that I can’t remember right now. I’m tired though.
Karen I’m sorry. I’ve been here about 3 tines since I posted that but I didn’t see your reply. I guess I needed to refresh but I thought when you left, came back it refreshed. When I didn’t see a reply I just thought you had gone to get your supper. Sounds like you and Dutchess had a good day. So you can take her in all those places? No problem, Debbie. 😉 I don’t go out very often, so I have to make it count. Dutchess did try to bark today. And yes, she couldn’t wait to get out of my arms to go play. But it didn’t happen. 🤗 I pretty much take her everywhere, but she’s still not well-adjusted to strangers, so I have to be careful.
Do you think she would bite someone? Protecting her mama?
I don’t know, honestly. I think it would depend on how the situation was handled. She hasn’t been as “socialized” as most dogs have. She does okay with my doctor and other people, so I just don’t know.
She probably would do well with most people who approached with common sense.

I didn’t like that fish. Can’t believe Red Lobster’s name was on it. I have got a regular brand better than that. Win some loose some. The acorn squash was good and I had a plain baked mushroom that was good. I love baked fresh mushrooms. All that is required is olive oil and salt.
Oh, I agree! I love fresh baked mushrooms. The button type. Sometimes I have to put a little bit of butter or olive oil on them. I used to eat them with steak all the time. Yummy. What kind of fish did you have? Lobster, crab, pollock, cod, etc?
I was cod it said but mostly just tasted like the breading which wasn’t good either.

Good night Julie. Hope you are making something good. We are having those cod Red Lobster breaded fillets I found at Kroger. I’m eating one fillet, 190 calories. A little “pricey” on the calories, but I think it is the first time since March I’ve allowed myself to have something breaded. Sleep well Moonbow.

I hope he can repair it. I want to get my flannel sheets on. That was what I was doing when it broke. So then I decided not to change the sheets and wait so I could strip the bed when he came. But I didn’t know it would drag over a month.

Oh, beer always stuffs me. I don’t eat when I drink beer. 🤣 I get pretty nutty! I would suspect that Jo doesn’t eat a whole lot, she is fairly slender. I bet she is one of those who can eat whatever and whenever, and never gain an ounce. I always wanted to be that way! 🤗
She weighs less now than usual. Probably because I don’t cook as much, especially fattening stuff

Just went through and deleted cookies, I’m so glad, I had cookies from Walmart, Target and ones that I didn’t even know what they were? the highest cookie user I had was 48 cookies😜
