Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello..got a text from my sister, she decided to head up here tonight, wants to go to the game tomorrow night..wonder if she remembered it’s the opening ceremonies of the Olympics then. She’ll get to our mom’s around 7:30, not sure what time she’ll come to my house but she usually does even if only for a short time. I walked both dogs and still felt a bit cold even though I had layers on..didn’t go that far but they really need them, would have been better if I’d gone farther.

One of my farm channels just trapped feral cats (TNR) trap nueter release, and she met up with a Alamama organization that fixes the cats, they will be returned back to the farm, They just didn’t want the problem of kittens. And the cat population getting out of hand
I love this program, especially if the farm agrees to feed and at least provide minimal shelter.
They just pull up with the truck and you drop the cats off and pick them up the next day, they will have gotten all their shots plus they are fixed, some people don’t take them back, but most farmers want them back. Cog hill has a barn for them and provides food. They just ended up with a lot of stray cats, they think some one is dumping them, they have 3 dogs the got from being dumped at their farm. Good afternoon…it’s not as sunny today but the temp is warmer..think I’ll walk the dogs around 3, the warmest time today. I’m making tea right now..DH sends short texts, sounds like his classes are somewhat interesting and he enjoyed lunch, pulled pork. All I’ve been doing yesterday and today is laundry, take dogs out, watch TCM or whatever looks good, and read.
You are having a relaxing time. You aren’t wondering when hubby is coming home, will he want to go to a store or restaurant. You know the answer so just plan your own time.

Rick ran errands and saw our neighbor Bob that lives around the corner practically across from the drug house and he had SCOOP!!!!! The mom (from Texas) that owned the drug house was here a couple months or so ago to kick everyone out. She told her husband she couldnt do anything and he said well I can and drove to Tucson. Great news Ardyth, your neighbor hood will be safer, and the eye sore will be cleaned up and the druggies gone-now the become someone elses problem, will the company rent it or sell it? just read they will flip it, hope it gets sold as a private home and not as a rental-same people could rent it again, just switching Landlords

they haven’t given a recent update on Jade and I don’t think they expect Jewel to come back bc they haven’t seen her in a while and now that his new bird seems to be picking a spot they have been focusing on her
