Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. My lab work was, as almost always, good, which is bad for me trying to find out what’s wrong with me. Anyway, I saw the hand doctor yesterday and I’m going to have new X-rays next week. I’ve just been worried about a lot of things lately, I think that makes me tired. I am a worry wart. Did you enjoy your supper?
Supper was good although I got less meatloaf than usual. I still cut it in half to make two meals. Was an iron level part of your lab work and was it ok too? What is going on with your hands? I’m having trouble with mine but I think it is rheumatoid. Do you actually see a rheumatologist? Are you on meds for it? Are you worried about worldly things or more personal things?
I just saw a regular hand doctor yesterday. After the x-rays we will decide to see next. I know it’s rheumatoid in one hand and osteo in the other so far from a couple of years ago. I got involved in other surgeries before I could get the hands taken care of. Iron was definitely in my lab work, and it’s fine. Kind of frustrating. I am so glad you had a nice supper. I’m glad your lab work was good but I understand what you mean about wanting answers. I’ve been there done that. If you have rheumatoid then you should be on medication. osteoarthritis and rheumatoid are very different even though on X-ray they look similar. Treatment is different. What does the hand doctor think?
He wants to look at the X-rays first and then decide what to do. We actually don’t have any real rheumatologists here in the Springs, as big as it is! They all work in Denver. So I have to go with just an osteo guy, I guess. It’s a mess, and I haven’t delved into that yet. Maybe the insurance company will let me go to Denver. I’ll wait until after the x-rays come in.
That’s a shame no RA doc. How far are you from Denver? Other types of doctors aren’t very good with RA. I think it is tricky to treat.
Yes, I heard you and other people say that it is tricky to treat. I don’t know why they are all in Denver, but I think it vacuums. I am about an hour or so from Denver. I can make it work if the insurance company will let me. I’ll keep you posted. But you need to go to bed, Debbie. I know you are very tired, and I don’t want to keep you up. 😘
