Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. A baby flying fox who is leucistic part albino shes so unique she can’t ever be released back into the wild the sun would kill her, she’s a very sweet bat

She’s at a rehab place but will go to live at Mandi’s aviairy to live out her life with other rescued bats that can’t be released, they live in a big outdoor pen that they can fly in it and have their own colony, and the get fresh flowers and fruit to eat this is in Australia they rescue Kangaroos too and other bush babies

Oh, the sweet little thing! ❤️ Thanks for posting her picture, Julie. She reminds me of Angel, the leucistic red-tailed hawk. Haven’t seen her in a couple of years. I wonder how she did with the sunlight. Those little ears are just adorable! 😅

Checking in had a nice walk it was refreshing, walked to the dollar store got a couple of little candles-I like burning a candle like watching the flame, darn I forgot to get trash bags🙄 but I did get the southern green beans, I do like them alot😋

just be careful…I buy the homemade ones, very natural but even those have essential oils that can be very toxic to pets..maybe you can look it up…some essential oils are ok and I usually have soy wax and none from China, I buy only homemade ones now but even rethinking that..will have to check into it..our vet and the pet supply store sells some that are certified pet safe
I don’t burn lavender or use lavender soap- cats really don’t like the smell, thanks for the tip, I have a open window

Good afternoon…went to the farm store and Aldi for pet food, treats, and some things for us. Only a couple places but took awhile. I’m watching the skating now. BBL

yes..we get pet food and toys, nuts, coffee, jeans sometimes, shoes, even small appliances. Sometimes DH gets something in the tool or automotive sections.
I think it is bigger than our Tractor Supply or Southern States.
I would love to go to a tracktor supply store😃

I don’t think ours is like that. I haven’t been in one that is very big. I think Fleet is bigger.

Those are the oranges I used for my Christmas fruit salad. They are good.

Good Morning Debbie, how did you sleep last night? how do you feel on the new med?
I slept ok but was sleepy when I woke up. I laid there about 15 minutes later than usual. I had a little more sleep apneas than usual maybe why? I’m probably not going to tell a difference in the new med for awhile. I plan to stay on the half dose for about a week. She told me to do the half dose but didn’t say how long. All the RA meds are slow acting. She said about 4 months to tell a difference if it would help. I know the Orencia has helped but my hands did get… Read more »
