Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. mostly finished laundry..have to hang up the plaid place mats and tablecloth that are in the washing machine…I think most decorations are in tins and a bin that will go to the attic one of these days. I might leave out the winter/v day stuffed animals for later this week. I’ve been drinking lots of tea today, just a good day for it and warms me up when it’s a bit chilly and drafty inside. You did good today Lynn, tea sounds good I should have a cup. I was out earlier and got cold (wind). Filled feeders brought in trash cans brought my neighbor’s cans up to his garage. I was out long enough to get cold

I know what this is from there was a monkey who was dragging around a stuffed toy for companionship, I didn’t watch it as it makes me sad, it was on Youtube
I found him his name is Punch he’s a Japanese Macaque, these monkey’s live in the mountains in the snow, where he and his first time Mom lived, it got very hot, she became stressed and stopped taking care of him. They put stuffed animals in the pen with the monkey’s and Punch adopted one to give himself comfort. He would be with his Mother for a while and he’s still young he appears to be doing OK caretakers are aware of his situation. Good afternoon. I thought I better stop by and say hi. I did walk this morning and I cleaned the house and I’m doing a little bit of laundry.
