Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA

Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.

There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Hi checking in just got a walk done before it started raining, stopped at the food truck to get some tacos, not wasn’t fair I could smell the tacos from the food truck and my nose took me there😋😂I had to go out because Lade was out of Temptations, she’s having some right now, I forgot to take the trash can out and I just put my PJ’s on I will still have to take it out in my bath robe, that’s OK and I don’t care, I petted 4 dogs on my walk, I loved it😍

There you are. Glad you got a walk in and came home with “necessities “ like Temptations and Tacos. Yum yum for cat and human. 4 dogs, that is a lot. Your nose took you to the tacos, now let your hand take a picture so we can drool from their lovely sight.

Good afternoon…washing pet bedding/throws now. Going to wait on setting out Easter decorations. I can’t get through to the people I’m petsitting for, hope the problem is fixed soon. Dh said it’s definitely nationwide but random, so here and there. It’s sunny, 40s, so maybe a short walk with Bane in a bit.

Good grief I was putting the olive oil away and the lid doesn’t go on real good in the first place I discovered and it slipped out of my hands and hit the floor and opened up so I had to wash the floor

I hate cleaning up oil, when it would happen at work we would put salt over it, the salt sucks up the oil and makes it easier to clean up, you have to use a lot of salt but it does work. That’s a bad mess to clean😫
