Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Oh I can see that as being delicious on this salad. I’ll look up recipes. Looks like baby spinach, strawberries, maybe walnuts, feta cheese. Healthy and delicious.
spinach from our garden…..yes all the things you said were in it…..he added mushrooms which normally dont go in it.

I just got bit by a mosquito in the house

For mosquitos? I guess mosquitoes like more humidity. I was thinking the hot and forgot the humidity. We have both here and lots of mosquitoes. They love me.
They love me too and we do have rain and sitting water so that’s why we have mosquitoes. But as I told Karen there weren’t any hair when I moved here

I definitely don’t get along as well with mosquitoes as I do with bees. I’m a magnet for mosquitoes. They give me welps.
I can have welps too. It helps to put alcohol on the bite immediately. Do you know mosquitoes are drawn to people with certain blood types?

Karen, when I moved here in 1979 there were absolutely no mosquitoes. I don’t know what happened. They are little but they are mighty

Good evening..have had TCM on all day…I watched some of the musicals but also did laundry and put the snow people, reindeer that were on the mantel, wreath, in a box and bags..DH will put them in the attic. I had a big helping of the leftovers earlier and not hungry now..if I get hungry later maybe I’ll just have some cottage cheese…I also have some pumpernickel bread. In Florida the one eaglet has branched and no eggs at N Decorah.
The cam is showing an adult eagle in a tree. I’m not sure it is live but the eye is glowing and I can see a blink.

Looks kind of sad but, he’s probably trying to sleep. I’m feeling really bad for M-15. It’s only been a little less than 3 years since Harriet disappeared. I haven’t heard him calling for F-23 though. I don’t know what that means. Praying and worrying for both nests.

My sister has bragged on Aldi’s pork chops for years. They are always good. I do think Aldi’s has the best fresh meat.

Just got a call from my Mom, my Dad does have Parkenson’s, They had a good visit with him, and he seemed better and he ate, he had sweet potato and fresh fruit he ate all the fruit-I don’t know how long he will be at the hospital, I’m calling there tomorrow-took me forever to find the number. So its good that he ate😍he hasen’t been eating much. I feel better knowing what’s going on

Wonderful news Julie. Not, that he has Parkinson’s, but that he seems better and ate. Because your Dad has the shaking problem all his life, it was hard to realize he had Parkinson’s since that is a symptom of both. I’m glad you found the hospital number and are calling. I’m sure you know, just tell the hospital operator to connect you to your Dad’s nursing station, then say you want to speak to the nurse in charge of his care. I’m glad you are on top of things.
I couldn’t find that number? for the place at all, Like a general number its all broken down into like clinics so I’m just going to call the emergency number, how its listed the emergency has hospital rooms so I’m thinking he went there by ambulance so they can at least find him for me or give me a number
