Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Rick dropped our taxes off at Dan’s, my sister’s brother-in-law who does our taxes and then he went to the nursery on the far east side of town and bought $70 worth of chili peppers and tomato plants. So he’s ready to plant
Cost a lot for the little plants. What else grows in the southern Arizona climate? I know carrots.
Carrots are winter along with radishes and winter lettuce.
He only wants tomatoes and peppers
He doesnt like vines like zucchini and we dont care for zucchini.

Gabi that is a great movie! It was the last movie I have seen in a movie theatre! A young, handsome Kevin Costner so you will especially love it. We saw the area where the snow scene was filmed in South Dakota when we traveled there.we saw props and one of the horses that was in the movie. The movie shows a bad part of American history.

My relatives from my mom side emigrated to kansas , too, still with ox – drawn prairie schooners. 1877. They also had controversies with first nation people there in kansas. Gabi you have a lot of close ties to the US. Relatives back until 1877, parents almost immigrated! You could have been an American! But I am glad you are German. How many times have you traveled to America? I remember all the things you mentioned about the movie. It was a great movie, has fun, beauty, sadness, tragedy, makes you think about a lot of things. I just have the news on, our oil and gas prices are already going up because of the war. Many oil tankers are stuck in the war- area and cant deliver the oil to the western states like europe. Good grief !!
